The product says "Improved Formula" and it does seem slightly different in a good way. It seems to be a littlte creamier in texture and blends better. It is a lightweight makeup that can vary from light to medium coverage. The color 51 is a light ivory. It is yellow toned but is light so it seems to work on my pink-toned skin which isn't the case with most yellow tinted makeups. It evens out skin tone and counteracts redness.
