Does not securely clamp on a threaded bar
First off, this seller is great. They ship very fast and pack the items well. Whereas they are fantastic, the product gets 2 stars because it is not safe. When it arrived, I was happy how it fit both my threaded and non-threaded standard bars. I attached them to brand-new threaded dumbbell bars and warmed up with light weights (8.8 lb plates), the weight came off and hit the floor. I thought it was user-error because they appeared so secure, so I carefully reattached everything. Later in the workout, using the same weights for a slow concentrated hammer curl set, the weight fell off again and smashed to the floor. Thank goodness my cats were not around or injured, or my feet or my flooring. It troubled me knowing that just earlier I did skull crushers with them and it didn't happen over my face. I'm lucky. So many bad things could have happened. I simply returned them and was quickly issued a refund. The reason I didn't give the product 1 star is because the problem seems haphazard - some, not all the clamps were bad. Maybe it was a bad batch, who knows. But in the end, safety comes first and in my estimation, this is not a safe product. I don't think its worth the risk and I've been lifting for decades.

Good for 1" bars, not for 1.06" bars.
I have 8 different standard bars: 4 are 1.00" diameter, 4 are 1.06" diameter. The VMFTS 1" Quick Release Locking Collar Clamps slide on and off the 1.00" bars, but too small for the 1.060" bars.I do not throw or drop the weights, and the clamps are holding for me.I intend to start letting young people use them, to see how well they hold with more exhuberant lifters. If that goes well, I will buy 2 more pair.I would like to find Quick Release Collar Clamps for the 1.06" bars.

Doesn't do the job for dumbbells
I was adding in some dumbbell work, and bought these to save time over the spin-lock collars. These collars snap on with ease but don't grip the bar, and if there's more than 5 pounds of weights on that end of the dumbbell it will slide the collar off and the weight will fall. Its possible that they would work on a smooth 1" barbell kept level, but they are useless for dumbbells.

Easy to Use
This product is clearly superior to the screw-on collars usually supplied with lifting bars. They are very easy to use and to exchange during workouts. My only complaint is that they should fit the bar more snugly. This is not a major complaint and I would recommend this product over other clips that I've used.

Useless product
This snap on collar snaps on very easily, but unfortunately a completely useless product .Absolutely not holding weight plates on place and i go as far as this is a hazardous item, imagine you doa dumbbell curl and a 10 lb weight plates falls on your toes because this collar does not hold .Its just ridiculous this kind of items can be even sold .

Much better quality than I expected for the price!
These little collars/clamps are pretty basic and work as advertised. But considering they're plastic I was wondering if they'd be cheap little things that might only last a few weeks. I was pleasantly surprised to see they've got a little heft to them and they seem pretty rugged. It's only been about 10 days, so durability or longevity is unknown, but I can say that for $8 I'm quite satisfied with the purchase.

Good replacements
These we’re just what I needed to replace pieces my kids lost. They are easy to use, but don’t give a completely tight fit. However, they do what they are designed to do.

Not happy at all
So I’ve be using these for a few weeks. I did have an incident where the collars slid off but I will blame it amount of weigh I used. I reduced the weight and while doing rows one of the collars popped off. There was no reason for it to unlock at all. After a few more reps it did it again I may have got a defective one because the other collars stay locked

Works but not as tight as I'd like.
These collars will hold your plates on but don't expect them to be snug on 1" threaded bars. I'm not too surprised as a threaded bar will have less surface for the collar clamp to make contact. I just don't like spinning, wobbly plates while performing a set. Too distracting. I decided to do a once wrap around on the bar with electrical tape (Hockey/sports tape may work as well). See my picture. The layer of tape makes the bar thicker and the collar clamp more snug. The tape has a second bonus in that the plates aren't so loud when pulling on/off. A plus when you live in an apartment and you're doing early morning workouts.

Does not Hold Weight on Bar
I received this item thinking I like the idea of the quick release, so when I go it I slipped the clamp on the bar and noticed it was a nice tight fit. Then I snapped down the clamp and picked the weight up and the weight came sliding off the bar. This product, while a great idea is useless. The defect from my point is the clamping lever does not bend enough to tighten so the weight will slide off. the weight might not slide off if it was a 2lb. weight, but I was using 10lb and it slipped right off. Think of if it was 25lb. Bottom line, no one wants weights sliding off and this little slippery plastic device just does not work, period.

OVERPRICED!
These collars are made of a very strong plastic, and lock pretty well on a 1-inch spindle style barbell... I've only used them a few times, but I don't get any 'walk out'. My problem is the price... I found a pack of 2 of these here on Amazon for $9.83, with a choice of different colours, too! Shop around on this app first before you buy, because this price is a bit of a rip off, IMHO...

Product defective
These were the second brand I purchased and I had two issues. First issue is says 2 pack and therefore I assumed 2 pairs but it is only 2 pieces. I guess my error but why would it it be written like that because who would buy only 1 piece when you need 2 pieces for a barbell?Second issue is that they did not fit my threaded bar, and one was extremely loose and the other was tighter but either way neither could be used.Naturally I decided to return and return policy is « cannot be returned ». I wrote to vendor and they never replied, and therefore I wrote to Amazon and they credited my account. In summary, great service from Amazon, and poor service from vendor.

Useless.
I put these collars on my threaded dumbbell bars and they weren't tight enough to hold the plates. These collars, and my dumbbell plates, slipped off under the weight in about two seconds. So unless you hold your dumbbells horizontal at all times, watch out. Your dumbbell plates will fall off and dent your floor, or your feet. I tried to return these and it says "This item isn't eligible for return" - something I wasn't warned of before buying, and I can see no evidence for on the page after buying. Big disappointment.
