Monocle Madness Monocle: Black, Plane Lens

Thought this was a real monacle. It's a toy. I can't believe how bad I got ripped off. I am usually much better than this. There is no way the other reviews are real. Don't fall victim. You can get the same thing from a bubble gum machine.

First one got lost in transit, once notified, Amazon sent out another. Unfortunately the monocle was filthy inside its container and after a gentle cleaning, I discovered that there is a small scratch on the lens. Fit, brightness, and magnification is fine, just wish the new monocle arrived looking new and scratch free. Upon closer examination, I see there are also small scratches on the frame as well. :-(

My husband is pleased that I purchased it for him. He’s a big guy w/a size 2x head & it fits his eye well. Great old fashioned design fits the bill. Goes around his neck and down his dress shirt pocket until he reads the menu. Great when he does not want to bring his glasses.

This manacle is great, it's easy to carry around, works like it should & I can read the menu. It isn't so good for trying to read something even as mundane as a prescription bottle. I have it just because but my readers get a lot more use

Monocle lens quality was decent, the case and extra lanyards was a nice touch. Unfortunatley I was unable to get the monacle to stay fixed so I had to send it back, but the little I did use it was comfortable and easy to read.

Too small and really not anywhere near the price. $8.99 is a realistic price for this.

A bit large for my orbital cavity. Then it snapped on me about an hour after I received it.I looked pretty swank for that hour though! Bad luck maybe?

I've tried for weeks to use it but it keeps falling out. My left side was paralyzed by a stroke 6 years ago and I'm constantly juggling specs, tough when your left hand doesn't work properly. I tried asking for help on the MonocleMadness FB page: some fool suggested superglue. I'm left with a product I can neither use nor return for a refund.

Perfect for when you need to read something quickly, snug fit and quality design I'll be ordering a silver one next

I found the lens to be very thick, to the point that more of the lens sticks out the back of the frame than is in the frame and is uncomfortable, the quality of the lens isn't great either, I understand that a lens of +2 will be thicker than others but I don't feel the lens used works well with this monocle.

Comfortable to wear.
