How long do these last with each set of AAA batteries?

Guessing it depends on batteries using I went camping used for 4 days still OK great product defo recommend

how do you adjust for a dimmer light

There is no dimmer as such, you simply push the light down & back into the case bit by bit. This reduces the range & intensity of the light.

What is the Lumen on theses lamps

It is 300~400 lumens when it is fully extended with new batteries.

Are these safe for indoor use?

Yes they are safe to use indoors ! I bought them for that purpose more safer than candles if electric goes !
