I used this for the inside of a light box for an Aerogarden... I adhered it to a project foam board (mostly a paper-ish type surface) and it's holding strong. I can't claim anything as far as using it as intended on a countertop, but for my use the adhesive was really strong, the material was flexible but not too much so (easy to work with and apply without it folding over on itself or something).

It took over a month to get, from China then I worried about the saftey of bringing in my home with the epidemic in China.A real wake up call to notice where are imports are coming from to me.Too late of delivery to use for entended use and not sure its safe.

After removing this product it left a glue residue that i cannot get off my counters. Big disaster.

I used this in the fridge to cover up areas that received a lot of heavy use and the plastic was cracked. I had to use glue to keep it in place, but it sure made the fridge look a lot nicer. I also used this foil on open shelves in the kitchen, which improved the overall look of the kitchen. The beveled look of this foil gives it a contemporary look. I will definitely order it again.

as long as the surface is smooth and clean this product does its job and relatively easy to install
