Won’t last forever but damn sure worth the money
Could be a lot better built but for the money it’s ok

Way better than spooling it out by hand
This tool isn't great, but it's acceptable and it's cheap, so that makes it a 5 star value for me. It would be a lot nicer if it had a base so it just sits on the ground rather than being staked into the ground. The stake can wobble around and cause the arms to bind up in the dirt or grass. Versions with a base are about 5x the price though and I didn't want to pay that. I've used it to unspool wire for laying out fences to get them fairly straight. I've also used it to reel wire back in. It doesn't do a great job reeling wire in, but it wasn't designed to. You can do it though. I used to do this by hand and high tensile wire can get itself into a huge not before you know what's happened to you. It can be miserable stuff. This tool makes it easy to work with.

Worked
This thing is a AWSOME little contraption if you are putting in high tensile fence it's a must-have otherwise when you cut the metal bands off the roll of wire it will basically explode like a giant coil of jumbled up wire that is then pretty much useless I had to find that out the hard way of course so again it's a must-have and easy to assemble

It's okay for occasional use. When I used it ...
It's okay for occasional use. When I used it for a 1000' coil it was okay but it doesn't handle 4000' coils very well. It's too light and flimsy

Worked very well.
I put a 9 gage heavy coil on it and it has worked perfectly. I would recommend this.

Worked fine, we had to drill holes as the holders were not adjustable to small enough diameter.
we had to drill holes as the holders were not adjustable to small enough diameter. We needed 14 inches. It only had two adjustment holes, and they were too big. Some directions on using it would have been good.

It’ll pay for itself.
Overall it’s great. Before buying I did read a review that suggested the center post could be longer and I do agree. The product is good quality and I conclude worth every penny. It made winding up two kilometres of wire possible (in sections) and I believe it will be helpful when I re-install the fence wire in another location..it’ll pay for itself.

Longer centre pin
Needs a longer centre pin as it catches the ground

... going into the ground was longer or had a better tipping base
I just wish the pole going into the ground was longer or had a better tipping base.
