EAGLE PEAK 17x10 Pop up Gazebo Canopy Tent Outdoor Instant Canopy Shelter with Adjustable Dual Half Awnings (Beige)

We replaced a Master Canopy 10x17 that got tossed around in the wind. I like this one better as it has a vent at the top so it’s less likely to blow away or around. Overall construction seems much better than Master Canopy. Bought a 3 year replacement warranty in case something happens to it.

I waited a year to write this review because I wanted to make sure this canopy actually held up. The good news is, it did! We find it infinitely easier to set-up and take down than our previous ones as well. Very happy with this purchase!

I purchased this gazebo for backyard gatherings. The EAGLE PEAK 17x10 Pop-up Gazebo can be put up by one person but a two person set up is ideal. Be sure to purchase the extended warranty because this gazebo does not look like it’s going to last long. One of the bars was not securely attached and came lose during setup; because of how it’s construction, it cannot be reattached. The cover is slightly smaller than the frame therefore the sides bowed. For the sides not to bow, I refastened the cover and now the cover is partially closed (the corners don’t align). I would rate this 3.5 stars. Provided pictures.

The media could not be loaded.  Initial assemble and set up required a bit of elbow grease in regards to the cover and velcro. I've owned quite a few canopy tents because I do quite a few farmers markets and one of my old ones gave out finally. I liked the awnings on this and wanted to try it. The structure does feel secure and I love that I can just push the center and it would open up, and click without having to push each corner up to "click" into place. I had a hard time with the cover and I'm sure it had to do with not being familiar with how it opens since I'm so used to them without awnings. I may have pulled at the cover too tight or something because the inseam on one of corners started coming apart. The awning bar that you slip through to straighten the awning on that side actually ended up bending and I ended up just taking the whole thing off and re-doing it because I didn't wanna break anything. It finally did fit right after i took some time to straighten it out after understanding it. It's still not perfect as it's still too tight in one corner and one of my awning bars is bented a bit, it's good enough. Not sure how they should go about fixing this "flaw" as not sure if it's a true flaw either. My advice would be to take your time setting it up and familiarize yourself with the pieces and corners etc....

We bring this gazebo to baseball games and it's been a life saver! (I simultaneously burn and melt in the sun.) This provides enough shade for most of the parents on the team. The side awnings are great for either that extra room, or to fold down to block a bit more sun. We get comments on it every time we put it up.After the initial set up, it's super easy. You COULD do it by yourself, but pulling the legs in opposite directions is definitely easier with two people. Same with collapsing it at the end.The only two downsides: it is HEAVY and is longer than our previous pop-up so didn't fit into the SUV as nicely (still fits, but it's a very tight squeeze).The wheels on the bag broke the first time we used it (this is how heavy it is!) but the company immediately sent us a new one and we haven't had a problem yet.

So I use this 24-7. It never comes down. I have it strapped down on every corner. I’ve had 40-50 mph winds a few times. the thing is still standing. I think the little vent on top really helps the wind escape. I’ve had it up a few months now. Putting it together was okay it would have been easier with 2 people. The only problem I see is the color is already fading due to the sun. Hopefully it makes it a year I’ll be happy. Remember this is being used all day everyday. Keep that in mind

This was a gift for my son-in-law. He uses the canopy for coaching sporting events, block parties and camping. He loves it! Super easy to put up and very sturdy! Buy the weights to go with as it helps stabilize. Great purchase!
