I felt it was important to leave a review for this item to make other women aware - you get what you pay for. I have been using boric acid suppositories for about a year to prevent vaginal infection and to readjust my ph levels when I feel the early stages of infection. Instead of buying my regular brand through Amazon, I opted to try these from Simple Balance as you get twice as many tabs for the same price. The white capsule casings (instead of a clear gelatin as I'm used to) dissolve incredibly slowly. And, as they are opaque white, it is likely that these contain titanium dioxide. Although they are advertised as pure boric acid/no fillers, magnesium stearate is listed as an ingredient. I found these to be completely ineffective. The tablet doesn't dissolve slowly and disburse, it seems to just clump and then end up as a gob of discharge. Also, to my dismay, this was the first time I've had a reaction to a boric acid suppository - these would cause mild irritation and a burning sensation. After trying for a week, I've had no improvement in symptoms and will be returning these to purchase my previous go-to brand.

I use this whenever my vag is off balance. I used to get YI’s and Vaginosis every couple of weeks. Now whenever this feel off I just pop a pill up there 2x a day for a day or two and I’m right as rain
