This works really well for my ancient, but hopefully with me for many more years iPod, but it doesn't register on the iPod itself that it is charging at all, I just take it off a few hours later then it is charged but it doesn't register being plugged in or charging/being all charged. Really world's smallest pickiness. Thankful it works!

Apple 30 pin cables are getting harder and harder to find as the products that use them become rarer and rarer. I use these with my iPod Touch 3rd generation. I still sync it with iTunes and use them with my phone’s power brick to charge and it works like a charm. They fit well into the ports both on the PC side and the iPod side and I expect that they will last me a long while. If not I have an extra!P.S: The packaging they come in really nice and is a resealable bag that you can use to store them and a power brick in
