My other leopard gecko prefer to be tong fed. They are adults and only eat 1-2 times a week so it isn't a big deal. My juvenile girl is afraid of her own shadow so I figured this bowl would help her notice when there where new feeders in the bowl. At first the top was coming on and off and Pepper is small and does put her front legs in the dish when she eats bc she is little for her size so when I would wake up up there would be dubias missing and I wouldn't know if they were eaten or escaped. She was fairly new to me so still on paper towels and tile. I emptied the whole enclosure and there were a good deal of live dubias under the paper towels (estimating about 8-12). In no way am I blaming just that bowl. It could have been any bowl. So I collected them and put them in the correct size container so they could gut load and be eaten another time. I decided to use a bit of gel super glue on the two sides where it connects and it works MUCH better now. I feed on the cool side which is 70-72 degrees and the glue hasn't melted. I've used the same glue for projects in my aquariums which are 80 degrees and 74 degrees respectively. NOW it works perfectly, even though my little Pepper eats with her hands in the bowl.Would have been a 5 if I didn't have to use gel super glue.It HAS to be GEL SUPER GLUE, THAT IS ALL THAT IS SAFE TO ANIMALS! So when you buy it make sure make sure it says GEL super glue.

This is great for medium bugs, but if you have some chunky Dubia roaches they are tall enough to escape.

Very nice quality lizard reptile feeder! It is smooth and the top has a lip around it, keeping the live insects from getting out. It is transparent which seems to be entertaining for the lizards as he can see inside the bin easily. It is very easy to clean and sticks to the side of the tank with ease as well as can sit in grass for r on a rock without tipping over. Highly Recommend!

Provides a bit of fun at first, it takes your little buddy a few tries to figure out how to get into the dish, so they lick and bite at the sides. I liked watching Rex our leopard gecko figure out how to get past the invisible barriers!It keeps in superworms and is easy to clean extra calcium or vitamin powders off of. The top partition likes to fall off a lot when you carry it. However, my gecko hasn’t knocked it off and he climbs all over it. I move where it is located so he has to look for his dish every evening, the suction cups are fantastic, it takes me a minute to get them to release when I need to move it. The feeding tongs that come with it are great, I don’t like the superworms biting me so I use it to pick them up with.
