This supplement is great! My 4 year old had a slight iron deficiency some time ago, and had to take a prescription iron supplement that tasted horrible. It was not an easy task getting him to take it. I was researching a new iron supplement that he could continue to take to keep his iron levels in check, and at the same time also tasted better than the prescription type. I came across the Best Nest Iron on Amazon and it sounded promising, because what kid doesn't like chocolate? He started to take this about 1 week ago, and I can honestly say that my son loves it! When I tell him that it's time to take his iron, he comes running and takes it willingly. It isn't "Godiva" chocolate good, but then again it is an iron supplement. I would say it tastes and smells like chocolate Tootsie Rolls. The whole family is now using this supplement since it tastes good and it's easy to take. Thank you Best Nest Wellness! I was impressed with this product and am really glad I took the plunge and bought it. It was more costly than others but it showed a lot more promise. I’m 10 weeks pregnant and have had so many issues with taking prenatals with iron I just gave up and got some gummy ones that didn’t. So I needed a stand alone iron supplement because my labs showed me today that I was depleting quickly. I came home from having 13 vials of blood drawn and was super exhausted. I grabbed this bottle and took two doses as my dr suggested between 30-45mg per day. It tasted great and was super easy on my stomach. Of course there is a bit of that aftertaste. It’s iron! There will be a taste. I just took mine and had something to eat prior and drank some orange juice after and it was fine. Hopefully my next labs will be better but I do feel better than I did before taking this. Only downside was the chocolate smell was pungent even with the bottle sealed. That was odd to me. For that alone I am giving it 4 stars.

My 1 year old daughter was prescribed iron sulfate by her doctor. It was lemon flavored. When she took it, she immediately threw up everything she had eaten for dinner.
