I am not the handiest person when it comes to DIY projects, but even I was able to mount this rack on my wall in a matter of minutes. This is an excellent gun mount, probably the best one on Amazon. The wood mounts themselves are solid and sturdy and attractive. There is a felt liner so your gun is protected from scratches. It helpfully comes with both dry and hard wall anchors and screws, that are even more helpfully labelled in each individual back. Everything about it is high quality. It is made in Ukraine, so I love that I am supporting a Ukrainian manufacturer as well. 5 stars, would highly recommend, excellent product.

I hang my Mossberg Maverick with this product and holds up great

The quality of the brackets themselves is very nice: sturdy and an attractive finish. I deducted one star for the following reasons:1) the mounting hardware is cheap and insufficient for the task. I had to mount one bracket in drywall without a stud so I used the screw-in plastic anchors provided. I tried two of them, each broke in half as I screwed the anchors into the drywall. The anchors are thin plastic and also strange because they have flattened tips, so you have to pre-drill a 1/4" hole in the drywall before you can start screwing them in. I found some metal screw-in anchors I had lying around and used those instead. They have pointy tips so pre-drilling is not necessary. The screws themselves are ordinary course-thread black drywall screws.2) There was no template provided. Even for a fairly proficient handyman such as myself, there's still a lot of extra work you need to put into finding the correct screw placement. While I was able to mount the brackets fairly easily, I can see this being much more of a challenge for those not as experienced in these types of things. I can definitely see those who don't have the correct tools , the elderly or those not very good with their hands having difficulty installing these. If a simple template were provided, this would vastly increase the DIY percentage of purchasers of this product not having to rely on others' assistance.3) The material in the U-shaped portion of the brackets is soft but slippery. My side-by-side 12 gauge kept canting to one side or another when I was placing the gun in the holder. I am going to line each bracket with a foam or rubbery tape of some sort that provides more friction so the gun stays where I place it. As other reviews have suggested, a "V" shaped notch might work better.4) The price: I paid $32.80 not including tax. If better hardware and a template were provided, I think this would be an OK price but at is, I would say the value is about $25 to $27 dollars even in these inflationary times.

Very impressed with the quality and style of these gun rack hangers for my 1863 Springfield Civil War musket. There was a little play with the stock of the musket in the back hanger, but the addition of some felt quickly firmed it up. Family and friends who have seen musket in the rack in the attached photo have been impressed. I am delighted to have such a handsome resting place for my musket - outside the reach of inquisitive small grandchildren!

This was for my grandson to mount his 303 infield rifle on tge wall. It works perfectly and is very eye appealing
