Our pup has epilepsy so normal flea and tick prevention options don’t work as they can lower the seizure threshold. We have him groomed every 6-8 weeks and over his 6 years we’ve never gotten a report about an infestation. The collar smells great, a bit strong during the first week or so but its smell becomes more mild over time. Compared to traditional options it’s quite inexpensive and a great alternative if you don’t want to load your dog up with chemicals. The collar has a pull tab so you can separate it right out of the package and it’s so large it would fit no matter the size of your dog and you can trim the excess accordingly.
