Poor quality
The first time I wore these was at the end of August for a 2 day drill weekend. I ordered them in July, but they sat until my drill in the box. I work in a clinic setting, I am not running around outdoors and super tough on boots. A seam busted open just by walking around the clinic. By the time this happened my return window closed for amazon. I am contacting the company with hopes they can help me get a replacement, but honestly, I am so disappointed in the quality of these boots. I would not buy again.

Unsat quality
Start off by saying they are very light in weight which i like, however for almost $200 these are not worth buying. In this picture it’s my first time wearing them and as u can see from the gap on the inner left and right area where the bottom attach to the boot already have an opening and sure won’t last very long. Doing military duties these boots won’t last 6 months and that’s sad for the kind of money i expected way better quality will not buy these again.

Check your boots for deficiencies no more a brand to be trusted
Big disappointment! I order this boots for my us army infantry training here at Fort Benning, knowing that Belleville is a hi quality brand and this model of boot being the most popular here at sand hill it was the my first choice no doubt! But when I unpacked the box I realize that one of the boots looks unfinished!! I couldn't believe it I had to glue part of the boot! And there is unfinished stitching also, totally unacceptable for the us army standards.

Bad Quality Control
I bought this pair October 2018 and never wore them, I try to switch out my boots every 6-8 months since I ware them for work.I had just gotten a pare of custom insoles for them and the first time I put them on I noticed a hole were the stitching came apart.Very disappointing since the last pair of Bellvilles I had were amazing. Contacted Amazon they said there is nothing they would do since it has been over nine months.

Sizing for wide width is off
I have worn Belleville’s for years and with this order I am a little disappointed in Belleville’s quality of sizing control. The left boot is about 3 years old and I wanted a little more room in the toe box and forefoot so I ordered the same size but wide width this time. I’ve found that my feet tend to swell after a few hours in the field or even just towards the end of a long day. But upon comparing the old 5R to the new 5W they are definitely the exact same width. I will be exchanging them for a half size larger and hopefully that will work if it doesn’t put the arch support in the wrong spot. Otherwise I will have to find a new brand of go-to boot.

Good fit, bad assembly.
Top grommet on one boot was never punched or installed and flew off the first time lacing up. They seem light weight, a good fit, and super comfortable. Going to try to return and purchase 1 more time.

The boots I used in the service
So I have to preface this by saying I returned them because I was going into wild land firefighting and unfortunately they were not in regs. But these boots are the exact ones I used when I was in the service. Previous to these I would use the standard issue bricks the army gave me. I used to get knee pain, blisters on ruck marches, and could do a sub 15 min per mile pace. I got these boot (way back in the day) and it all changed, I went through Air Assault with these things, WLC, a deployment, they were definitely my favorite boots, still have the to this day (worn out af,but still have them)

Worst boots I have ever owned
I bought these boots for the Florida heat and walking on concrete and climbing stairs all day. After the first day I could barely walk, I bought cushioned insoles to add and that didn't help either. These boots have ZERO arch support and even the sides of the boot let your foot spread out with each step as if you are bare footed. Imagine taking a flip flop for the beach and tying it around your foot with a string synched down tight across your instep. After two hours on concrete your feet are burning like you have been working a 12 hour shift do to the constant flexing and twisting of your feet. Your feet feel like you are wearing socks and walking through a very bumpy yard. I have worn work boots since I was eight years old, and in the last thirty years I have never had a more miserable experience with a pair of boots. It took two weeks for my feet to heal after only wearing these boots about five days. Maybe a very short jog on the beach without a backpack would be a good use for this boot. But these are not a boot for working, walking, or standing on hard surfaces.
