Great camera for the price
The camera performs very well and is a great bargain for the price. The video is excellent in day light and acceptable in the dark. My only issue with the product is the hole saw that is provided with the product. How can I put this? Oh I know, IT IS WORTHLESS. While trying to drill a hole in the sheet metal, the saw teeth (immediately) completely disappeared. I am guessing that the device was intended to drill a hole in plastic and not metal. I was fortunate that I had two hole saws that came with a pair of mirror mounted cameras. It was the exact size and drilled the hole easily. Once the hole was drilled, the installation was simple. Just make sure that the camera is orientated properly when you mount it since you cannot easily remove the camera to adjust it.

1) The field of view isn't that great. I question the claim that it has 170 ...
I debated between 2 stars and 3. In the end I chose 2 because, while I'm not expecting award winning quality out of this camera, I'm unhappy enough that I will be replacing it in the future.Here are my complaints with it:1) The field of view isn't that great. I question the claim that it has 170 degrees of visibility.2) The quality during day time is poor. Colors are all washed out.3) During night time, the video is very blotchy and hard to see. I question if there is really any infrared lighting.The OEM backup camera on my wife's Toyota is far superior and more of the benchmark of what I'm looking for.

Finding a good camera is difficult
The design is very small making it difficult to mount and aim. My surface is not vertical. It is very sensitive to the slightest movement when trying adjust. Finding a good camera is difficult, even though there are many choices. It appears the same cameras are sold under various brand names. Maybe I am just too picky?

Great for the money
A great camera for the price. It turns on and you can see what is behind you. That is its job and it does that. For the camera I received, it looks like it is snowing outside sometimes. I sipped and cleaned the lense and didn't help. Who cares, it was 5 dollars. If it was that important I should have bought an expensive one. Just a head up.

Good bang for your buck
Easy to install but should include a reverse light wire. Hole saw not made for metal, became dull instantly, but used a 3/4 drill bit to make my mounting hole. camera itself works great decent picture for a $20 camera. The infrared led lights help a lot when its dark

Very simple to hook up, one RCA video connector and 2 power wires. Not a bad unit.
Update January 2020. This camera was still working fine when I sold the camper six months after the below review. Original review April 2017.I install this on my travel trailer to help back it up. It works OK. The quality is nothing special, also bright lights wash out the image. It’s worth what I paid for it.

Decent, couldn’t find better for the price
Its not bad, camera quality isnt great... but it dosent need to be for a back up camera. Its good enough to see where your going. Also disappointed that the hole-saw bit broke, had to buy another one to finish job. Other then that easy to install and worth $

This works perfect with the Alpine 430N in my 2017 Jeep Sahara Unlimited. Outstanding customer service, very quick to reply! Was amazed there are not to many customer friendly companies left, this is one of them. Camera works perfect and is of high quality and easy installation.
