what we needed to make repair
Ordered some to see if they matched the shingles on our laundry room. Have a leak and will need to replace the shingles after the repair. Needed to match the color as they will be seen from the road. Will purchase more if they work to make other repairs.

Not what I expected, not same amount in bundle, usually 10 pcs only 8 pcs and size difference made tough to install for repairs on origional

Not quite the same as the product discontinued by Dow/Corning.
Some deviation from the shingles they’re replacing (Dow/Corning discontinued the color).I have contractors waiting for the product to install it but shipping is very slow fromTexas to Ca.It fits the bill, you might not notice the difference unless it was pointed out to you, but I don’t understand why this popular color was discontinued by Dow/Corning…increase roof replacement sales perhaps? In any event this was my only option, since no local vendors have any in stock and immediately report that it is dis-continued.

“3 Tab Shingles” are smaller than “Architectural.” Know your size.
These are probably returned a lot because they are smaller than what’s called architectural shingles. Here in Las Vegas when you go to Lowes or Home Depot you buy twice as many for half this price and the standard here is “Architectural.” The problem is, this style of architectural shingles have been made obsolete and you can’t match them up with what’s available now…planned obsolescence. Just know your size when ordering.

Re package. Junk.
These are a split from a normal package and not packaged well. Falling apart on door step. Also as in description, NOT A FULL BUNDLE. makes them 4x as expensive as a roofing supply house. I should have read the description better, but for the price an expectation is set.

Pay attention to the length of the shingles!
Perfect color match to our 40-year-old shingles, but our old shingles are one METER long while these are one YARD long! We don't really care, since the entire roof needs to be redone, but we were a bit puzzled at first when the pattern didn't line up. This is a great product, and should suit most applications just fine.
