What to consider before buying:- If you’re really familiar with brush hair straighteners and particular about the button placement, this product might not be for you- If you have seriously curly, ringlet hair..this might not be for you. I have pretty wavy hair and I use this a lot to tame it and straight with a natural look. I’m not sure this would work the way others might with a more difficult textured hair to straighten.- The button placement on this can be tricky, as mentioned in other reviews. I’ve been able to work around it, but for some people, it could make them not want to use it if it bothers them enough.- It’s not going to give you stick straight hair. It’s more of a naturally straight look and helps with fizziness! If you’re looking for straight as a board hair, I’d recommend getting a regular straightener.- Also it is pink and adorable..so there is that What I like about the product:- I love the look of it. I know that’s silly to list as my first comment, but I truly love how girly it is!- It gives my hair a more “natural” straight look. I’ve started using this over my normal straightener, because the look is softer while still helping with frizz if used with product. (hair oil kinda stuff)- It’s crazy easy to use! And perfect for traveling because you can use it to give a bit of curl at the ends as well.- It gets really hot and you can control the temperature. Hair tools that are stuck to one temp drive me up the wall.- It heats up quickly! What I don't like about the product:- Like others have mentioned the buttons are a bit tricky in placement. It’s not too difficult to figure out how to hold it without it being a problem, but it was frustrating in the beginning.- Maybe this is odd, but I think it would be helpful if this can with some sort of hot tool bag or case. Having it just sitting on my sink while cooling down so I can put it away immediately.Overall, would I recommend it:Absolutely. I’m obsessed with it and recommend it to any of my friends who have wavy-ish hair. Also if your friend wants their hair to be perfectly straight, I wouldn’t recommend it. For people like me that a bit easier hair to style and want a more natural Victoria Secret hair style look, I’m in love and would recommend it all the way!A little about me:I’m your average 20 something year old, working girl who has a slight Amazon shopping and reading reviews addiction. I’ve always relied heavily on reviews to make purchasing decisions, so I decided I should probably contribute to something I really appreciate and use all the time Hopefully this review was helpful!

It works amazing if you have a regular flat iron next to it. It makes the job easier if you have a curly hair, because with this one you straight the hair on a first step. It won't end up shinny and it will have some frizz, but that's something you can easily take out with the regular flat iron. My medium-long hair takes app 20 minutes to straight with this brush and the flat iron. It is a really good deal, but you have to have the two of them.

It did the job as expected
Before I write this review, I knew it wouldn't work as well as my old-school straightener. I was looking for something to use on off days or just quick to take the frizz out when I didn't feel like pulling out the straightener. It did the job. It doesn't, of course, get all the way to the root so I did have some flyaways on top. Not my favorite.I will be returning this brush for the simple fact that don't like the heat adjustment location. The buttons are on the side, resting right below my thumb. It was impossible for me to use without changing the settings. That drove me nuts. So overall okay, but not for me.

it's been the best flat iron ever
My paul Mitchell neuron smooth flat iron died on me after a tripped breaker, it's been the best flat iron ever. I desperately needed a cheap one to hold me over until I could get one shipped to me, i thought I'd give this one a try. I've seen ads for flat irons like this on fb, so I was curious about it. It works great, you can adjust the heat setting and it will display the temp for you. It works well for lifting roots and curling ends like you would with a round brush while blow drying, except the style stays put. Only downside to a brush flat iron is that it can't curl your hair, but I like it for volume.

The concept is neat and it works. However the temp control is on the handle of the brush without a locking mechanism. So the entire time you're straighening you rhair you're having to constantly keep resetting the temp. I can understand maybe not being able to put the temp control on the actualy brush head where you wouldn't be handling it due to the intense heat but they could have at least made the temp mechanism lock into place somehow so you weren't constantly resetting the temp. It was actually frustrating.

Don't waste your time
After reading all the positives reviews on this straightening brush, I had high hopes. Unfortunately I don't know what product they were reviewing, but it wasn't this.I was constantly either turning it off or altering the temp as the buttons are on the side of the brush.Simply brushing your hair doesn't make it straight. You have to brush under the hair, keeping pressure on your hair to keep it in the brush. Cue burnt hands. My hair is thick and wavy. I wasn't looking for stick straight hair. Just a less bushy style. This is going back asap.

Just buy it.
I have spent years trying to learn how to use a flat iron. Not all at one time, of course, but over the past years I'd make a stab at it. And usually when I got to work, people would glance at my hair, give me a pitying look and try not to look at it again. Now, all of that has changed.I purchased the hair straightener brush on recommendation from my hair stylist who seems to think my wavy sometimes frizzy hair could use some taming, especially if I'm aiming for sleek and sophisticated. She's also the one who tried to teach me how to use the flat iron. With the brush, I simply run it through my hair and it's straight. Not much more difficult than that. As a matter of fact the most difficult thing was learning how to turn the brush on, and I admit if I'd read the instructions it would have saved me a good 20 min wondering why it wasn't heating up.Once we got past that however, the rest is gold. Just buy it, it's easy, it's amazing and nobody looks at me with pity anymore. Well, at least not about my hair.
