Brush Type 5: Class 60 Diesel Locomotives Paperback – May 15, 2016

I was surprised at how small this book actually is and think that for the price there are possibly better value books.The book does contain a picture of every class 60 although all photos are from 2000 onwards(mainly 05-11).Photos are good quality and do show a variety of workings.Overall i think best suited for dire hard fans

Good selection of photos some are clear but the printing is getting better from the publisher, in all ok but my standard for photography prints is the Straithwoodbooks

I have just received this book today. On first impressions it is a nice little paperback for all Class 60 fans not to miss .It covers mainly the latter stages of this Class in the north of England on a good variety of trains . The photos are well reproduced and are in class order with one or more shots of each member . Some nice personal touches are included in the captions as one of the authors is a driver and seems to have got shots from hard to access areas.Highly recommended to any modern loco fan .

This book is an excellent pictorial record of the class 60's at work through the lens of a driver and enthusiast alike. As such several new views are recorded in otherwise off limits locations to other photographers which makes the book all the more interesting to the readerTop Marks all round :-)
