I ordered this fan to use in our motor home to assist the onboard A/C when camping at night. It is very quiet and for such a small, COMPACT fan, has a lot of power. There are 3 settings and we always use the highest setting. I even use it when our A/C isn't on, just to have air circulating around me. I LOVE that it has a USB charging cord, (that was probably the main reason we purchased this particular model) PLUS we use that at night to keep it running throughout the night. Our experience is that we don't get multiple hours from its charge, so I keep it charging throughout the night. We boondock almost every place we go, so this assists our A/C to keep us comfortable. We just returned from the Gulf and the temps were in the 90s and it helped keep our motor home comfortable throughout the night. As far as its sturdiness, I am very careful with it. To look at it and hold it, it seems a bit fragile. It may not be as fragile as I perceive, but I'm not willing to take that chance, so I take good care of it. I am pleased with this product.

This thing is fantastic. I gotta admit, this was an impulse buy and I almost cancelled it but it had already shipped. BUT BOY AM I GLAD I DIDN'T! BEST IMPULSE BUY EVER!I can move it anywhere, reposition it any way I need, it has three speeds (all super quiet!), it’s small enough to have on my night stand but can extend tall enough to use as a standing floor fan to cover a little more area. The extendible neck and all of the “joints” are really durable and don’t feel cheap. It’s very well made. WELL DONE!

I like the portableness of it, we took it with us on cruise and used it in our cabin, loved it.

I bought this fan to use for our hotel stays because we like a fan on us when we sleep. But it really helped when our air conditioning went out during a heat wave. It has more power than you would expect for such a little fan, and it is so quiet that it doesn't bother you when you are trying to sleep. The oscillation helps to move the air around on you. It will still be our traveling fan and fits in my suitcase very well, but now it has a permanent place next to our couch for napping. I recommend it very highly. It is also very affordable.

No remote came with this order. Worked great for about an hour then died. Went through all the trouble shooting still not working.

UPDATE This seller contacted me to let me know that they updated the description of the product so that it is no longer misleading. I applaud them for their reaction to the review. I returned the fan because I wanted black with a remote but otherwise I thought it was unique and a good design and quality. I did NOT receive any compensation for updating my review. ORIGINAL REVIEW FOLLOWS The description is misleading. The controls are not the same on the white fan as they are on the black one, the black one does NOT come with a remote and is not 4 speed.

I just returned from a cruise using my new folding oscillating Pflanzenhau Fan and it was wonderful first of all it folds down and did not take up much room in my suitcase.For us women of a certain age who need that air flow all through the night this is the fan for you it was quiet it oscillates it has three speeds and don’t disturb me while sleeping. This fan has a stand that can also be extended for a high or low angle and now that I am home I will be able to use it during the day as needed I can just stand it next to me angle high or low and get that great quite flow of air. I bought this fan for my husband when we were camping. But we have since gone on a few vacations and he has taken this fan EVERYWHERE we have gone. It's been from TN, to AR, to TX, NM and all the way to Aspen, CO... my husband says this is the best thing I've ever bought off Amazon, and I"ve bought a TON of stuff from Amazon! LOL. He is so giddy about this fan. And the fact that it's so small, makes is SO convenient to take anywhere. It's very sturdy, hardly makes ANY noise.. .charges enough to last ALL NIGHT.. .this thing is GOLD.

The received fan doesn't have oscillation feature even though the product page says so. Initiated a refund
