Perfex Pepper Mill 602-11S

I have had the salt grinder for a year and held off buying the pepper one due to price. I just love these grinders.

The price is insane, but we've had this pepper mill for 30 years, and we give it as agift. It's the Cadillac of pepper mills.

Most reliable Peppermill I have ever used. consistent grind never wears out! I've had mine for 15 years and have gotten one for each member of my family !

I've had one of these pepper mills for 30 years and I cook a lot...it has operated flawlessly all that time.I bought one for my son and it is awful. Rough mechanism...it doesn't stay set on the coarseness setting.....coarse to fine to no grinding at all....a big disappointment fo a 90 dollar pepper grinder.

One star means "I hate it" and this is exactly right. After wanting a Perfex for about 20 years, I finally broke down and bought one. The grind is very rough, it feels as if I'm grinding sharp-edged gravel. While grinding, it jerks around in my hand. I absolutely cannot get a smaller grind, the screw won't turn at all. Every time I use it, I actively HATE it. If it hadn't been so expensive, it would have gone in the trash already.Going to buy a second Atlas Pepper Mill from Amazon. It's a bit tall and awkward, but is the absolute best. The grind is adjustable, perfect and grinds a LOT when you need it. btw, I got the chrome. Once bought a very heavy antique reproduction cork remover at a vineyard in Mendoza and the brass makes my hands smell awful. I have had mine for 25 years. Works fine. Needs to be disassembled every now and then and cleaned of pepper gunk in the grind gear. Mine cost $45 so I am not sure I could go $90 to replace.

Absolutely terrible. I hhad high hopes for this and wanted it to be something my kids fought over when I passed away. Truth be told my oxo ($12) is easier, more comfortable, more efficient, more consistent and faster than this peice of junk. It does look better, but that's about it. Going to return it.

these pepper mills are great! i bought them at my favorite store in berlin, manufactum. i was glad to see they were available in the u.s. for gifts. i love coarse pepper, and this does the job. they are adjustable for however you like it. easy to fill. look great. very simple. food just tastes better when you use these.
