Soft material as noted. Not binding at the top. Graphic is well printed and was appropriate for our now-adult kids who always said they hated getting socks for birthdays/Christmas. They were ordered 2 weeks before Christmas (only happened to see them on Amazon then) but it had stated that the expected delivery time was December 22 latest. I thought that meant to our home and decided to take the chance. They did arrive from the US in Canada on that date but did not arrive at our home until several days after Christmas. If you are ordering for a specific date, be sure to allow sufficient delivery time.
