When this arrived i was very worried due to the size of the box it arrived in however once i unboxed it was very happy to see that all parts accounted for hooked up a light to the motion detecor to give it a test run first wave of the hand failed however this was due to the power supply still juicing up because after about 5 seconds i got blasted right in the face with bright lights lol opps but i am very happy with this i got it to help my parents with their bills and i cany wait for my dad to install this set up will make their lives so much easierReview editSo bought these lights back in sept they are still not put up due to my dad having no idea where he was going to put them got that issue solved tonight nov 26th however heres a warning with pictures attached if you plan on doing something that is not a one way street be prepared to purchase a splitter to run from the motion sensor to the power supply and lights plugging the power supply into the lights does not a victory make the motion sensor will only work if the power supply is directly plugged into it this is problematic because if you want your lights going in two seperate directions well not happening also the extra chords will not be sufficently long enough to suit any great deal of length other then what is provided so again be prepared to purchase additional materials pictures for points of interest for the motion sensor as well as where the lights are going to be mounted and what all comes in this package are attached changing review from 5 down to 2 starsreview edited againok so after finally get the lights up were my parents wanted them we tested them out today jan 1st 2020 the motion sensor is sitting just a little over 7 feet off the floor above the guest bedroom door now in the discription it says it has 120 degrees of sensing range and up to 26 feet the 120 degrees is true however when we plugged everything up the sensor did not pick up motion until my dad was 8 feet from the sensor we measured it to be sure and since it was day we figured the sensor might be light sensitive but if this were true then the lights should not turn on at all if there is enough day light to effect it however we tested the motion sensor again when it became dark enough and there was no change in range now im not sure if the sensor is bad or if the seller miscaculated how far the sensor actually picks up motion or if the seller knows the difference but 26 feet and 8 feet is a major detection gap so while the lights are functioning and they do still serve their purpose i must say in all honesty highly disapointed because the reason for getting these was so my mom wouldnt have to flick on the hall way lights every time she wanted to walk down the hall thankfully amazon has put me intouch with the seller so we can see about getting a replacement sensor we shall see and i will update my review based on how it goes with the seller

These worked well with my application in a closet with an outlet and are a solid 4.5 stars, in my opinion. The lighting is BRIGHT and the package came with everything from cable management, extra extension cords (allowing me to increase distance between lights), enough 3M stick-ems (that stuck to my sheetrock well). My only constructive criticism are related to the power adapter:1. The only option here is the power outlet. it'd be better if one could use either a USB or plug-in.2. The adapter is large/clunky (~4x2 inches) so consider that for your application. It doesn't limit you by having one bigger plug so I was able to install this to wall outlet upside down, if that makes sense.3. super minor but I hate lights and the power adapter has a blue light that is constantly on.

I bought this for my office desk suit at home to replace the table lamp that gives a strong reflection on my PC monitor which bothers me a lot. The product comes with four LED light bars and one motion sensors. I only used two bars for my desk, which is quite sufficient for my needs. So I was able to put the other two in my closet.The lighting bars and the motion sensor look great and they are easy to install. You can even just install the bars without the sensor if you like. The light is very smooth and soft compared with the lamp that gives so much light that I'm always dazzled by it. The motion sensor works great too. It is quite sensitive. With it installed, the light turns off automatically once there is no movement. One thing you need to pay attention to is that the sensor is like a hemisphere and it only senses the area that the hemisphere is facing. Please keep this in mind when you install it. Other than it, it is just perfect!

I used this on a custom built safe, 4'X2'X6'. Had plenty of wire; the connectors are easy to use. Really brightens up the safe. Motion detection has worked every time, but sensitivity seems to vary a little. I have the sensor pointed down, it might work better if it is pointed toward you. My safe is painted metal inside and the self adhesive strips worked fine.

The lights work well however unless the extension cable is used the motion detection will overheat after a bout 15 minutes. With the extension it is upwards of 45 minutes on before it overheats and begins flashing on and off. The only other issue was the mounting, after thinking of options I set aside the brackets as installation would be too tedious and used Velcro instead. So far no issue with the Velcro.Well worth the price even with the blinking issue. Though this might be a deal breaker for some.

I really like this product. Packed well. Easy to assemble, easy to mount - everything needed, except for tools, was included in the kit. The only suggestion I would make to the manufacturer of the product would be to add a dab of silicon sealer to the solder connections on each end of the PCB assemblies. One of the solder pads broke loose and rather than returning, I chose to repair.

I bought this to add some under cabinet lighting to our kitchen and it fulfilled that requirement. The items are well packaged.The motion sensor, the way I have it set up, is very sensitive. As soon as I entered the kitchen, the lighting turns right on and now I don't have to ever turn on any other lights as the motion sensor is perfect for a kitchen. Fortunately, the wires have plenty of length to try several different locations. A+ A+ A+

Both the original and the replacement start overheating after 10 minutes and keep shutting off every couple of seconds. Keep searching.Update 04/04: the seller promtly contacted me advising they found that the cause of malfunction is the power supply and they are sending me a new one. I tried an adapter from another gadget with the same power requirements, seems to be working. Updating to 4 stars for now.
