Knit Elastic 1/2 Inch Wide -White

I needed some very narrow elastic for some sleeves on a shirt that I had that needed to be replaced so that I could wear the shirt comfortably. I absolutely loved the shirt but the sleeves were way to tight where the elastic was. Amazon was the only place I could find elastic narrow enough to fix the problem. There was also enough elastic that I can fix any other tight sleeves that come my way.

I used this for the waistband of knit shorts. It's stretchy enough to easily go over my hips and shrink back to fit my waist.The elastic isn't directly against my skin. I put it about 1.25" from the top of the shorts and then folded the excess material over to cover the elastic. I zigzagged through all 3 layers, and it worked great.I watched a video by a professional sewist, and she had a box of the same elastic in the background. The fact that professionals use it gives me confidence in its durability.
