Wonderful Life

An adorable book with gorgeous characters and illustrations.

I love this book. The illustrations are gorgeous, a real feast for the eyes. The text is brief but evocative, plants described as 'blossiblums', 'swishgrass' and 'tuffetilss'. It's more mine than my 3 year olds, but I'm good at sharing!

Wonderful Life (or Snutt the Ift in the USA) is an outstanding book. It is well-written and the imaginative illustrations are a delight to view. I will definitely be purchasing more of Helen Ward's books in future!
