This is a well built, lightweight and versatile stand that serves many uses. Can be used for a laptop, controllers for DAW's and so many other things. I have several of them and they always do the job.

This is a very nice, sturdy stand for the money. It goes together easily, operates smoothly, and seems well-built. The legs could be a tad longer for a little more stability, but they seem well-proportioned to the top. The top is plastic, but I don't have a problem with that. However, the measurements for the top include the lip on the side that prevents your items from falling off. As a result, the MacBook Pro that I thought would fit in fact rests on top of the ridge, and slides right off the top with practically zero resistance. Unfortunately the larger side is very significantly larger, so I'm keeping this smaller version and have ordered a set of 5mm x 2" round rubber pads to attach to the base. The MacBook won't fit inside the lip, but at least the rubber pads will help hold it in place.If they increased the size of this surface by just one inch in width, and provided a rubber surface vs the hard plastic, it would be a winner all the way around!I plan on using this for my laptop when I'm out in the field with the telescope.

I used my new tri[pod stand today for the first time and was very impressed with how sturdy and well made it was. I placed a 32"Flat Screen TV on top and it held the light weight very well. I'll buy another when the time comes.

This stand is amazing — the materials are solid, it’s very sturdy when put together, and I measure it at 39 inches at its tallest, which is a lot taller than what the description says. Even at that height, it doesn’t wobble at all. I was looking for a stand for my iPad because I’ve been getting sore muscles in my neck, probably from looking down at my phone and iPad so much. So, this suits my purposes beautifully. I have it next to my bed right now, and the legs slide under the bed quite well so that I can bring the tray close to me.Sooooo, here I am and just ordered a second one. It’s light enough to carry around the house, but I’m lazy. And at under 20 bucks, it’s a steal!

I like to do some virtual meetings from the comfort of my chair and I needed a stand that could be right in front of me without obstructing my feet. This one seems to fit the bill. I have a very large laptop and it overhangs on the sides. Even so, the laptop stays put even at an angle. I probably will put some non-slip materials on it just in case. It's study and fairly easy to adjust.
