I've bought multiple sets of these, specifically because I bought one, my wife saw them, and wanted some for her own controller too! They feel great, and if you haven't learned how to change buttons/tear your controller down to clean; these buttons are a good reason to start that process. At the time of writing this, it's been about two years since I got them (gotta test em out right?) Gold and purple, they (to me at least) seem better than the regular PS4 buttons; the analogs feel light, and non-existent, but are extremely responsive, the buttons snap down and up clean and crisp; they have no wear, no issues, no sticking, and have this beautiful metallic *ting* when the analogs snap back into resting place. 5/5 all the way.

Install was super easy to do. Love the feel of the “D-pad” and Metal buttons over the original plastic ones, Very tactile! ONLY negative for myself, The thumb sticks are not very grippy. They have deep valley in middle but my fingers would slip off, so i just added some simple easy rubber thumb grips, problem solved.

I only got these for the thumbsticks and decided to use the dpad while I was in there. The thumbsticks feel great. The concave on top is perfect and my fingers dont slip off like people said they would. I have sweaty hands. Installation is super easy if you have common sense. You will need a super small screwdriver though. I would recommend buying one of the kits that is on amazon for ps4 controllers that have a screwdriver and tab popper for the controller. I DIDNT buy one of those and broke off some of the tabs. Thankfully I had a screwdriver though and just tightened it down good so you cant notice.

I was worried about buying these after reading other reviews. Some said the thumbsticks didn't fit. My experience was great. The thing with the thumbsticks is when you put them on you have to push them down. Hard. If you don't, when you put the controller back together they will not move correctly. I had one that I didn't get down good. But the good news is you don't have to take the controller completely apart again. All you have to do is push down on them after it's all back together. Problem solved. Everything works like it's supposed to. Mine didn't come with tools or instructions (which I thought it was supposed to but it may have been another set) I had the tools anyway and watched a YouTube video. Took my maybe ten minutes because I couldn't get the casing to come apart. I was afraid I'd break it. But I got it.

First of all, the buttons and thumb sticks feel great on the PS4 controller that came with my 1st Generation PS4. After having opened up my PS3 controllers recently, I felt up to the task to order replacement buttons and install them in my PS4 controller because one of the thumb sticks had its rubber grip come completely off.It does take a little bit of know-how to open the controller to where the buttons and thumb sticks are at so you can replace them. I did take the battery (didn't want to short anything out) and the ribbon cables attached to the touchpad and led light off so I could work on getting what I was replacing. Honestly, with all of that being said, the controller looks a lot better with the pink looking color with the black controller as a "background."I'm definitely planning on ordering another set for my other PS4 controller in a different color.

My L3 button had stopped working the way it should so I figured replacing the buttons or replacing the controller were my only options with the latter costing me too much money at the moment. The buttons arrived and after watching a short YouTube video I cracked open my controller relatively easy enough. The actual button replacement is the easy part. I WD 40'd my L3 and R3 sticks and closed everything back up. I've been playing COD and Fortnite for a few days with the new buttons and they work great. The square button has more response it seems and the sticks are just like new again. I like the extra weight to the controller which is minimal but noticeable only at first. I can't attest to the slippery metal grip issue as I use Kontrol Freeks extenders. Oddly enough the KF extenders fit the L3 almost too snug but was very loose on the R3. I solved the issue with a very small piece of paper towel folded up under the KF to allow proper contact. But it's great. I'll be buying another set for my boyfriends controller too!

Everything feels Great after Installation!A few minor things:- one of the thumbsticks did not stay on the connecting part. It would actually fall right off. Only a problems when I was trying to put everything back together and the stick would fall out. Works fine now once installed.- the packaging for the buttons actually said ps3 and did not match the stock buttons. BUT they all still fit so no one would ever know.

Purchased as a gift. Put it together for him and despite an internal part already cracked from him "tossing" the remote, this was a pretty easy and fun thing to try. I pulled the casing off of another controller a week prior to change a shell so that part I already knew how to do. Make sure you disconnect both connections inside so you don't destroy your remote. The only major issue I had was the sticks, they were tough to get on and fit down because they were new. Once you get your remote reassembled, make sure you get those pressed down so they move smoothly.

These were probably the worst buttons I ever got. They fit in the faceplate fine but very losely. the buttons seem to wobble around to much for my liking. I couldn't use the metal sticks as the cut outs underneath for them to fit over the 6 axis sticks were ummm.... like a D#%K in shirt sleeve is the best way i can describe it. the D pad was fine though the rest was poor

The buttons were easy to install and look great. The Thumbsticks are sticky though and do not self correct.

A good replacement for the buttons and thumb sticks when they have worn down. It didn't come with a tool to open the remote though.
