I am now ready for an adventure!!
Gonna start off with...yes I do own a 12 ft bull whip. And yes I am an Indiana Jones fan. And yes, this hat kicks ass. Bought a medium and it fits fine. My fitted hat size is 6 7/8 to 7 1/4. I'm pretty much a 7. Which often puts me between a small and a medium. The medium isn't as snug as I like it but it still fits well enough. It's not their oiled waterproof cotton but is a very nice hat. I got a laugh out of the review that thought Outback was a rip off of Tilley. Which is hilarious. Cuz I own multiple hats from each company, others like Conner too. Their line ups are not even close to each other style wise. Completely different. Both companies quality is top notch.This is not a crushable hat. It will be ruined. The crown is hard formed. Wire edged brim is malleable to shape how you want. I know when I get a hair cut, cuz I'm due, it will be more loose. Should be fine though. Tilleys booklet that comes with their hats says proper hat fit is that you can slide two fingers between hat and and head. Which for me seems too loose. So in that regard this hat fits me perfect. Maybe even too tight. Haha

Excellent Hat
Excellent hat. I’m usually very picky and half expected this to not work out. I bought the large size since I was in between medium and large (22 3/4). Use the size guide from the manufacturers website. I’m very happy with this hat. The quality is great and it shipped in a box. It arrived in perfect shape. I look forward to wearing it as much as possible.

Absolutely love this Outback hat. I look like Josh Gates or Indiana Jones. Perfect fit, very comfortable. and downright looks good.

He will not take it off!
My husband wanted this hat. He waited for the delivery person. And when he unboxed it he oohed and aahed it from every angle. He has worn it all day and won’t take it off except to adjust the brim. The fabric honestly is almost stunning. It is stiff but still malleable. You can easily shape the brim and it stays the way you want it to.He says it’s comfortable. He’s on the slender side and he got a medium. The hat band is nice. It has I guess “crosshatching” on it.It’s just a really well made hat and he’s thrilled. Who knew a hat could be such a big deal?
