No Bark Collar S / M / L , No Shock Vibration & Sound Humane Training Device , Control Your Pet With Anti Barking Dog Collars

Like a lot of people who purchased this collar, I wanted a humane way to stop my dog from irritating the neighbors. She is 20lbs of loving hurricane and while she will sit like a princess, lie down, roll over, wait, she will not stop barking when she has her mind set to do it. With four different homes adjacent to ours, this is a real problem. The collar itself seems to function as described. We've been using it about two weeks, no obvious misfires. She barks, it beeps. She barks again, it beeps longer. She barks, it beeps and buzzes. She barks, it beeps and buzzes longer. So the collar is functioning, but it's not really stopping her. :/ Initially it distracted her and she would stop barking about 75% of the time. Now she blows right through the first five stages and may or may not slow down after that. I will say that I have it set on the lowest level because I'm a big softie and don't like the idea of traumatizing her. Our female 7 year old miniature aussie barks at dogs being walked on the road, runners running by on the road, deer running past, neighbors occasional loose cattle grazing on our property, etc. More recently her barking at the dogs had become more intense with growling and jumping at the windows while inside and lunging at any dog daring to walk on the road near our house. She is never off-leash while outdoors due to the occasional presence of just about any wild animal you could name but especially coyotes. We even have had a black bear at our pasture fence.We decided to try this collar with a sound to warn and vibration to follow if she kept barking. She has very heavy fur and I wasn't sure this collar would have any effect. Also, I have put it on loosely and not touching her skin. The first time she barked and heard the beep she was obviously confused because she stopped and then began to scratch at the collar. She barked again and when it vibrated she was frightened and ran to me.She now definitely doesn't want anything to do with the collar and at first will run from me when she sees it. I do not expect to have to use it very long because she is a very sensitive and intelligent dog who is loving and obedient unless a strange dog shows up.

I was SOOO worried buying this. I saw some mixed reviews!I was between this one and a shock collar. I've seen the damages a shock collar could do and didn't want to traumatize our 3 month old German Shepherd puppy.He used to howl, yes, HOWL! All night long. Bark and do that high pitched yelping and crying. It was agonizing. I live in an apartment with my neighbors close by and all three of them came to me asking if everything was okay! None of us got any sleep! This was my last resort before feeling like I can't care for him anymore. He was keeping our son up all night long and we got zero sleep and the idea of giving up a pet is non existent but for a month straight this dog was incredibly frustrating. I was worried the neighbors would go over us and complain and get us in trouble! But the same night we first got this he cried ONCE and that was it! All my neighbors were so happy and so were we! This product saved our little family.He stopped in a DAY! It didn't hurt him, it just got his attention. It sounds a loud beep whenever he gets a warning. He might bark again if he's really feeling it but with the first vibration he stopped right away. He still tries to bark and cries when he's really excited but it quickly stops! I was eager to completely fix this excessive barking issue so I kept it on high sensitivity. Thanks to this collar my relationship with my little Mowgli has improved significantly! I don't yell at him or get upset anymore! A little sleep goes a long way!The only problem I have, but knew of when I bought this, is that I can't control when it vibrates. Meaning it automatically vibrates. So if he's jumping up and I say "no" I don't have a remote to help training if he decides to not listen but that, in time will be no problem. However this example is why I also bought the shock collar. As a precaution incase this one didn't work. The shock collar came with a remote. It can be used to prevent him from chasing our cat. Or jumping on new people. Or getting him to stop something he shouldn't be doing. That said, I might still use it but only when I am home! I'm thinking I might even return it considering how much patience this vibration collar has given me and my family :) I've had zero issues, it was easy to set up. I cut the collar to fit and then took a lighter to the frilled end and it kept it closed so it wouldn't fall apart. Looked exactly how it did before I cut it! It's great because I don't have to always hold a remote, the way I would with some shock collars. And it's safe to leave on him when I leave the house for a few hours. I don't have to worry about him getting shocked too much. Best part is it can't hurt my puppy!I reccomend this collar to be kept on 24/7 for the first week or two but I don't think I will need it much longer. Every pup is different! Please be patient with your little guy!

When I first received the collar I had my doubts. But thought what the heck, I have to try something! I have a pit who likes to bark at night at all the unknown critters he thinks is invading his territory. You know..the usual tiny armadillo or wild bunny here and there. So I had to try something to keep peace with our nice quiet neighbors. It worked great the first two weeks we had it. Then it started beeping telling us the battery was low. So we put a brand new battery in it and it still doesnt work. So I thought that maybe the battery was bad/old. So I went out and bought more batteries, but the collar still doesnt work properly. So if you only need the collar to work a week or two, then this is the item for you! But if youre like myself and like for the product that you paid for to actually work for a month or more, than look elsewhere.
