A win-win
How can one not like a high-quality training shoe that’s also very reasonably priced? I’ve been wearing this brand and particular shoe since 2015, and I’m very pleased with its overall look and quality. This low-top shoe is very comfortable, and is also available in a wider size. I actually use these for power walking, and can get about 1,400 miles out of them before having to replace them. The rubber sole doesn’t wear down as fast as other shoes I’ve tried, so that’s very important to someone who really puts them to the test. Overall, I recommend this type of shoe for its quality, comfort, and value.

Hubby loves them
Hubby loves them. Perfect size and fit along with great leather quality as expected from NB. This pair was for a replacement of an old pair, same shoe, same look, same quality as before. He is happy with them. Good for pickleball.

Size 14
Look good and adequately comfortable to wear out occasionally. Not my go to when I know there will be lots of walking or standing. Insole upgrade is something I haven't tried.

Looks great - wears great but sizing is wierd
The shoes look great. I can walk in them, wear them to the office or place a little bit of old man basket ball. They are leather so they are a little stiffer than running shoes and they don't breath that well but conversely they offer good support for pushing off side ways. And leather looks more professional if you want to wear them to the office on a casual day. (Most days are casual days for me.)Here is the thing about the sizing. I wear a size 14 in Brooks shoes and in Asics shoes. If you look at those labels US Men's size 14 means 31 Centimeters to Brooks and Asics. But New Balance says that US Men's 14 means 32 CM to them. A CM is almost half an inch so that makes a difference. It felt fine floating around in the house in the New Balance version of size 14 but not for sports. It is a good idea to spend the extra time and money to get shoes that fit if they are going to get high usage. If your shoes don't fit, then you will get blisters. If you search for a shoe chart online you will find that size 14 means 31 CM to everyone except New Balance. So I returned the 14s and got size 13 which New Balance says is 30.5 CM and they fit fine and perform fine. So if you are in a hurry and need shoes that fit right go to the store, if you have time you can shop on line but you might have to exchange - which I did. BTW the shoes were $6 cheaper through Academy Sporting Goods online than they were through Amazon.

Great fit & comfortable
This is my...3rd pair I've purchased from Amazon...I think (to lazy to go look through my purchase history. As a front-line healthcare worker I've worn New Balance for many years now. They always fit right and provide wonderful support for being on my feet all day.Rather than try and find the right shoe I wear at the local stores, I switched to getting these off Amazon and it's the only place I'll buy these shoes now. I have a smaller (8.5) size foot overall but a wider (X-wide) soul, if you will, so I need Extra Wide shoes or I am uncomfortable or in pain all day.The size I get on Amazon are comfortable, easy to slip on and off, sturdy, and a perfect fit. I generally go through 1 pair of these a year, as I'm always on my feet. So, the 1-day/Next Day, or even Same Day delivery for these is awesome. Being able to Try-Before-You-Buy is a plus as well for those that still might be skeptical. Two Thumbs Up on these sneakers/shoes!As an aside, I remove the factory insert inside the sneaker and replace it with Ortho inserts as I need more support (have for years no matter the sneaker I get). I just use off-the-shelf Dr. Scholls. The ones where you can use scissors to cut it to size.

Good every day shoe
I have had neuropathy in my feet for 10+ years. It has been difficult to find a shoe that gave me a firm fit and didn't make my feet hurt. I had to start trying different styles and different makes of shoes after I had hammer toe surgery on my right foot. That is when I found these New Balance Men's 623 V3 Casual Comfort Cross Trainer. This shoe gives me the firm fit I need to help with my balance. The shoe does slowly reshape to conform with my feet. Unfortunately, about every six months I have to replace the shoe because while the comfortable fit is appreciated, after six months the shoe doesn't help my balance problem. It feels more like I'm going barefooted. The shoe no longer helps me control my balance sideways and my wobble as I walk becomes becomes worse. If it weren't for my cane I would fall. I have had too many cases of falling sideways into things. No injuries, but scary enough for me to open a new box of New Balance Men's 623 V3 Casual Comfort Cross Trainer shoes and toss out a shoe with a lot of good thread and leather. But, we have to deal with the problems life has dealt us.

good and breathable, proven non-marking soles; get the Charcoal
Had them four months. So far they are taking the beating I'd planned to give them. Suede, good and breathable. I would like to rip that big N off the side, though.Update: I like them enough to get a second pair for casual wearing. The first pair (#1) was for exercise and need to dry out in between use.#1 are Light Grey. They look nice until they start to collect dirt. That big N is an eyesore from the start.#2 are Charcoal. These look very handsome and for some reason they are cheaper: double plus. There is a bit of red lettering on the tongue, which adds just a touch of sportiness. The big N on the side is more subdued, I do not feel a compulsion to rip it off. :) I'm a fan of understated visual design, and these have excellent appeal for me.Note to Nike owners. I used to wear a Nike cross-trainer. These were a softer shoe and conformed to my feet, more like slippers. I wore them too small because of that pliability. So when I changed to NB I found through experimentation that I had to bump up 1.5 sizes for toe room, and width accuracy mattered more. I'd recommend going to a shoe store and asking the assistant to take your measurements.
