Always know how it will perform. Adjust drag according to lb test. Flexible low memory up to about 8 lb test on smaller spinning reals. I use 17 lb on my old Ambassadors.

I have used this stuff for decades mostly because of the 2 items I listed in the title not to mention it's made in the U.S.

I have been fishing Stren for 30 years, there is no better monofilament out there.

As far as I'm concerned Stren is the best monofiliment line ever made. Never disappoints

I have used this line for about 40 years on my spincast and baitcast reels. I prefer the 17 lb test to the 20 lb test because it seems less stiff and you don't give up much in the way of break strength and abrasion resistance (the 20 lb test definitely has better abrasion resistance and break strength, but to me it is a much stiffer line).

I have always use Stren. I know they have newer and maybe better line, but I have used Stren for over 40yrs and it works for me. I like the fluorescent yellow cause I can tell where my line is at all times and my eye sight isn't as good as it was when I was younger.

This stuff has low memory, good stretch, and a nice blue/clear colour. It is so much better than the berkley trilene XL and it actually looks clear. Used this for trolling, actually landed my PB pike 45" with this while trolling for walleye. Will stick with Stren in the future

ich bin froh, dass diese Schnur über Amazone bestellt werden kann. Auch wenn diese etwas teurer als die bekannten Markenschnüre des Angelversandes sind, hat mich die STREN über Jahrzehnte nicht enttäuscht. Bei einem "fremdgehen" hatte ich nach einiger Zeit jede Menge Pirouetten und Verdrallungen, ein mir bis dahin unbekanntes Phänomen. Zudem dehnt die STREN sich wie jede andere monofile Schnur, geht jedoch wieder in die alte Länge zurück. Die anderen Schnüre begünstigen durch das Nachgeben die Pirouettenbildung.Selbst nach Jahre langer Nichtnutzung der Rollen - wie bei mir geschehen - und sachgerechter dunkler Lagerung sieht die STREN wie gerade bespult aus. Ich habe bereits damit geangelt und bin wieder hochzufrieden.
