MendaPlastic Dispenser, White, 8 Ounce (Pack of 1)

This dispensing bottle is exactly what I hoped it would be. Simple design, simple function, sufficient content, and perfect for my toner and isopropyl alcohol. Flip lid provides easy, quick access and is tidy when closed for storage. Keeps liquids fresh and sanitary.

I decided to try this for my RC Field repair kit for "Acetone" instead of "Alcohol". I am happy to say that it holds acetone without degrading and without leaking. I often just throw it into my kit and it lands sideways or upside down. I've never had it leak. Since I am using acetone instead of alcohol in it, I used a sharpie to cross out "Alcohol" and write "Acetone" on the outside. Unfortunately, any acetone that gets on the outside of the bottle while using it tends to take the lettering off. I ended up scratching the word ACETONE into the plastic, then brushing a good quality plastic paint into the etched letters. That lasts pretty well.

I purchased this for my diabetic husband who must test his blood sugar level several times a day. Rather than use the individual alcohol packs he can save money when at home by using this easy to use dispenser with a small cotton ball. It's made to twist and lock but we haven't traveled with it yet to test that out.

Works great for mi purpose..

Works very well for Gamsol to blend color pencils. Just flip the top up, use your paper stump/tortillion to press down on the top. The Gamsol (or whatever liquid you are using this for) will gently fill. When done, flip the top down and the Gamsol will seep back down into the bottle. I just wish the bottle were a little heavier so it didn't turn over when it is not completely full. I could have purchased the more expensive porcelain/glass Menda bottle, but tried to save a little money. Works just as well as the heavy ones. Just beware it can tip if you push down too hard and there isn't much weight of fluid inside. Keep it at least half full and you won't have that problem.

We have been using similar dispensers for a few years now, and had to replace them as the lower plastic pump barrels simply appeared to be brittle and fell apart. These new Menda bottles seem fine, but I think I realize now, what may have happened to the old ones. We usually keep the alcohol bottles full, this means that most of the time, the entire lower part of the dispensing pump was immersed in alcohol. I firmly believe that it was this constant "immersion" that allowed the alcohol to make the plastic part of the pump brittle. The lower part of the pump, the pickup tube, is a different kind of flexible tubing and did NOT appear to be brittle. NOW WE KEEP THE LEVEL OF ALCOHOL AT A POINT THAT IT ONLY COVERS THAT LOWER TUBE, BUT DOES NOT ACTUALLY REACH THE PLASTIC PUMP BARREL. I am hoping that this will extend the life of the pumps on these new bottles. The old ones were purchased locally at a "bargain store" years ago.

The item was good, but it was the first time Amazon delivered my package to my neighbor and didn't post a drop off picture. Luckily my neighbor brought my package to me. I seen multiple package issues in our town of Wagoner Oklahoma that day on FB.

The unit is made well and I thought it would work well but upon trying it with alcohol it sprays all over the desk.I assume they want you to place a cotton ball over the top to keep it from spraying out but that is not how I intend to use it.

Très pratique lors des manucure, prend moins de place sur la table et pas de risque de dégât avec le mode de bloquage quand on a fini de l’utiliser.

I bought it because we are going through a PANDEMIC and it said ALCOHOL ON IT!!!Its EMPTY!!!SO I BOUGHT A DOLLAR STORE BOTTLE FOR $15.00?? DOESN'T MAKE ANY SENSE!!!!!!!!! VERY UPSET!!
