the fan part works well and has good air movement but the mist part is a joke. You can barely feel the mist.

I have seen fans like this in the seasonal section of the store, but they are usually cheaply made and take batteries. This fan is actually a pretty high-powered little fan. It is deceptive in its looks because it is not like the cheap ones I have seen before. First of all, this one is rechargeable. It lasts for many hours on medium speed. I kept it on continuously to see how long it would last on one charge. It clocked in at approximately 6 1/2 hours. It has a built-in lithium battery that makes this fan quite a little powerhouse.There are 3 fan speed options. The medium and high speeds rival that of a small room fan. It can be felt several feet away.Another nice feature is that it stands on its own, making this a great little desktop fan. It will also work while it is charging, so you could have it plugged into your laptop (or charging block) and use it right there at your desk.It did not come with any kind of cord or clip, but I do not think I would use that anyway. It is ergonomic to hold or to set upright. It only comes with the power cord.The misting function on this is the only disappointment for me. The capacity is small, and it only lasts about 15 minutes of continuous use of the mist. I am not sure if there is room for a larger capacity water reservoir, but maybe if it conserved the water, using a little less mist, it would last longer. It does feel great when its on though--like a little personal air conditioner.There is a silicone seal/cap that works great. The water does not leak.This is a great little portable fan that is quite powerful and has a nice mist. Keep in mind how long the mist will last and use it on an as-needed basis.I received this item at a discount for evaluation and review.

OMG!! I highly recommend this to all women who have hot flashes - excellent. The mist along with the breeze really cools you down. Buy it.

No buffer noises, quiet and powerful
