I put pepper on almost everything and I like the size container. I’ve been buying Pride India for years and I’m so happy I found this pepper on Amazon. I highly recommend this product.

This organic black pepper ground is pretty decent. It is a medium grind. The flavor is pretty decent but peppery heat is milder than I expected. I would say it is a tad below medium heat for a black pepper. That being said, it is still good for rubbing meats and such prior to grilling or smoking. It works well too on salads and soups if you don't mind the gritty grind.This comes in a plastic bottle with a large dual dispenser lid: one half for shaking and the other for pouring (also large enough to put a spoon in to scoop). Mine has a best before date of about 22 months from now. Overall, this is a pretty decent black pepper ground. Decent flavor, albeit with a mild heat. Product of India.

Well, the amazon.com description of this item is "Pride Of India - Organic Tellicherry Black Pepper Ground, 3.53oz" however it tastes NOTHING like Tellicherry, nor does it smell like it. Tellicherry has a very distinct small that is not easily forgotten. This DID NOT meet my Tellicherry needs, but it is acceptable as a medium ground table pepper. It was quite fresh and smelled of bog standard black pepper, and oh yes, it was somewhat inexpensive, so if it had been the real thing it would have been a great deal, but as is just pass this one by.

This is my second purchase of this fantastic black pepper from India. It’s very fresh. It’s ground finely enough for a shaker but I put mine in a grinder. Hats of to “Pride of India” for bringing this to the U.S. market. Some may say it’s just black pepper. That’s true until you taste it. Great product.

Pride Of India Organic Black Pepper Ground is, as expected, a product of Indian and certified organic.This coarse ground black pepper comes in an 8 ounce BPA-free plastic jar with a double sided flip lid for shaking or spooning contents. Although it does have an inner security seal, the problem is that the seal was not attached to the jar and came off inside the loose lid, providing no security to the contents. The jar that I received has a Best Before date that is 21 months in the future.Pride Of India Organic Black Pepper is coarsely ground and a good pantry staple that works well in and on various dishes. A better security seal would also help preserve freshness.

At the rate I use pepper, this will probably last for the rest of my natural life, so there's that.This is a large, plastic tub of black pepper that handled being shipped in a plastic bubble envelope remarkably well. I unscrewed the cap to check it out and heard the inner seal detaching as I opened it - you can see it inside the lid.It smells like pepper, but not excessively strong, so I'd hesitate to call this first rate. But for a basic table pepper or cooking needs, it will do well for me.The grind is medium, which should suit any purpose. One side flips open all the way, and the other to a shaker. I'll probably use it to refill my table shaker, so opening and spooning it in will be the way to go.
