They work as intended but brake fairly easily!

Because I broke another bit of this size, I ordered this 3 piece replacement bit set and now have a new one and 2 spares.This size (7/64) is vital to me, as it is ideal for drywall screws.I love the newly discovered (by me) all in one pilot drill bit AND countersink.If I ever break another size, I won't hesitate to buy this brand.

I use a lot of these

I bought this to drill holes in replacement floor boards for my deck. I've used other counter-sink bits that use standards drill bits (the bits on these taper) and they invariably break. So, I bought a set of 5 expecting a lot of breakage. So far, I've only needed one. It's very sturdy and it cuts through went pressure-treated lumber like a hit knife through butter. It's cuts much faster than my old bit. I almost didn't try it because it looked larger than the #8 screw, but I drilled a test hole and it gripped well even at the widest part of the hole. These will probably last me a lifetime, but if I not, I'm buying more of the same bits.

These bits are very sharp. The point stays where you put it, even when drilling a steep toenail pilot hole in 2" lumber. They seem to resist breaking more than regular, untapered bits in the same price range. These bits are real time savers.

Easy to use and maintains the edge. second time buying these.
