I bought these as end of the year gifts for my third graders and they loved them! It was so fun to see them learn a new craft. Of course, some came out better than others and some kiddos just got creative with theirs, but they all had fun!

I bought this to introduce to my kids. They love it!

Concept is valid but I found the sample which is the pattern us too small for my 10 year old granddaughter to work.

Great rainy day project to surprise the kids with. Downside was a couple hoops didn't close right. But they really aren't needed to use or enjoy the product.

My 8 year old granddaughter wanted to learn cross stich so that she could do it with me. These are great for beginners for many reasons. The design is printed on the cloth, so there is no counting required. The designs are simple, but they are still cute and fun to make. The kit comes with many designs, and with small hoops that can be used for working the project and for framing/displaying when the project is done. The only issue I had was that one color of floss was missing, but I just picked it up at the craft store since the colors are all DMC.

This is a great little kit. I've been doing some printed embroidery on tea towels and my 8 year old has enjoyed helping me make the cross stitches. So I wanted to find a kit with printed cross stitch patterns for her to begin with so she could see what she's doing and learn to read a pattern a little more easily at first. I couldn't be more pleased with this set! First of all, let me say that I love that it came with plenty of needles, I didnt count them, but at least 10. The designs are all printed in color and they match up nicely to the little squares on the aida cloth, which is nice and stiff. The hoops that come with it are also of great quality, not cheap plastic. And there is plenty of thread, came with all colors needed. It also came with a cute strawberry pin cushion, needle threader, and tiny pair of scissors (the scissors are pretty cheap, but this makes it so you have everything you need to get started). I'm really pleased and think this would make a great gift for a few other young kids I know. Oh and it came with key rings to make them into keychains, I personally think they would be a little big for that, but even the key rings were of good quality. I would definitely recommend.

My daughter loves this kit. It is perfect for an 11 yr old.

My 11 year old wanted to learn to cross stitch like me so I bought her the stamped ones and she is doing great with them. She also loves the designs and that she can attach to stuff.
