Been using these for about 18 months now, and they seem to be working. The last CT scan on my kidney showed that I had flecks of calcium buildup, but no stones. The last one a year ago showed that I had a small 2 mm stone that I apparently passed easily. Do some research on these, they have a peer-reviewed article out that shows statistical significance in helping. The only other thing to ever show that was methylene blue in studies in the 1970s.

my urologist recommended that I stop taking potassium citrate because of excessive potassium in my blood. He told me to switch to Stone Stopper. The product arrived on time and as promised.

I've been using Stone Stopper for about 4 months at their recommend dose. I have not had a kidney stone during this time. However, I have to point out a possible side effect of this product. I recently had the results come back from blood work which showed an elevated amount of potassium (outside the recommended range). This may/may not be the cause but I have blood tested every 3-4 months and this is a new occurrence since I've been taking Stone Stopper. I'm not sure if I should lower the dose or stop taking it completely...I will consult my doctor.

I have been taking Pure magnesium potassium citrate for years. At my last visit with my urologist, he recommended this product as being specifically developed for people like me who like to grow large stones constantly. I replace my old supplement with this and two weeks later I had chest pressure, high blood pressure and a general "weird" feeling. I saw my family doctor and she put me on blood pressure med and told me I had to see my cardiologist. In the meantime my wife and I discussed what had changed in that period and I realized that starting the stone stopper was the only change. I took the bottle with me to the cardiologist appointment. She read the label and saw the amount of potassium and sodium and told me to immediately stop it. The potassium was causing hyperkalemia and interfering with electrical heart rhythms and the sodium was causing water retention that was creating the feeling of chest pressure. I stopped the supplement and the symptoms went away within a week. USE WITH CAUTION!!!

This product, if working properly, will have no effects. Meaning it is supposed to stop kidney stones. Tough to measure the absence. Will it last 1 year? Two? Ten?Who knows? I hope my urologist is correct!
