This sling came quickly and looked to be of high quality. Took me a bit to figure out how to put it on the Mauser as I had never had that type of military classic sling before. Not slings fault the operator is dense.

Good quality. Not that bottom of barrel leather. I am pleased with this sling and although it may not be the most proper sling for my Hakim rifle, it looks classy!

Looks good on my Hakim. Bottom retainer disconnects from time to time.

Good quality leather, metal furnishing are of sturdy manufacturing, will do the job just fine!

The product was fairly quick to arrive with good support from the carrier. The product however is substantially below average.When it arrived the leather was seriously dried out to the point where it was in danger of cracking. Further the leather was extremely hard and difficult to manipulate most likely due to bad tanning - this could also explain the bad odor it had when it arrived. I have worked with leather as old as 60 - 70 years(genuine WWII leather items) that had little or no prior treatment to it, and this product was still more dried out and in more danger of cracking than that. I had to give the sling a substantial amount of oil and wax to rescue it. After about 1 1/2 hours of working leather oil and wax into it, it turned out OK.Further, the sling itself if of relatively thin leather compared to the pictures advertised. The craftsmanship is so-so, with the use of stitching instead of rivets as the original.The clamp is made from mediocre steel and to my estimate not of hardened spring steel(I work regularly with steel). This might give problems down the road, as the clamp has to retain some spring tension/abilities to fully work. As of now it is easily bendable.However, to the price you could not expect a top quality product, which this product is not. For that reason, and because of the swift and great carrier service, I rate this a two star and not just one.Would have returned it, had it not been because of the customs that is not refundable.

Una cosa da non credere, sembra fatto apposta, mi è arrivata con la fibbia cucita al contrario nel senso che il pezzetto centrale che deve infilato nei fori risultava all'esterno quindi completamente inutilizzabile, visti i 33 giorni che avevo atteso perché arrivasse ho rinunciato alla restituzione e ho speso altri 5 euro per farmela riparare da un calzolaio

Diesen Gewehrriemen habe ich für meinen M96 Schwedenmauser gekauft. Ich habe mich für diese Repro entschieden, da die Original-Riemen doch eher selten zu finden sind und wenn, einfach zu hoch gehandelt werden.Die Lieferung erfolgte wahnsinnig schnell und das, obwohl sie anscheinend direkt aus Indien kam. Der einzige Nachteil, den man unbedingt ansprechen muß, ist der zum Teil impertinente Geruch, der von dem Gürtel ausgeht. Also heißt es erst einmal: Lüften, lüften, lüften. Ich habe zusätzlich den ganzen Gürtel zweimal mit Ballistol "Gunnex" eingesprüht und eingerieben. Vorteil: der Eigen-Geruch des Gürtels verschwindet und das Leder wird durch das Waffenöl weicher und biegsamer. Nun hat der Gürtel einen für mich angenehmen Geruch, der einen Hauch "Gunnex" mit sich bringt. Den typischen Waffenliebhaber wird dies jedoch auch eher nicht stören.

It's a nicely made good looking , but it doesn't fit my Mauser 98k 🙁
