Solid product + Great service!
The first unit received, purchased during a lightning deal, had a hardware flaw that would not allow me to boot or install any peripheral. After a short and painless support ticket concluded that it was nothing to do with memory, hard drive(s), or install media being used it was returned.Amazon did not allow for a direct replacement and I was forced to purchase the replacement unit at full price, a $52 total difference. Amazon did not want to help with this issue and gave me the run around, 2 phone calls with 5 different Amazon representatives both resulting in disconnections during transfers, 4 representatives during a chat sessions which ended in with me leaving disgruntled from the interaction with an abrasive "manager".Hunsn was awesome during the whole ordeal, they refunded the difference in price the day after the second purchase and was always courteous during our interactions.Since my use of the appliance is very limited as of right now my only recommendation can be based on my interaction with Hunsn and their support staff, which was GREAT!As of now I have installed Opnsense, configured, and updated. It is fast and and as of yet run with no hiccups. It is idling at about 39°C and barely touches the CPU during simple tasks. I will update this review in the future after more use of the device and putting into its actual role of router/firewall.

A wonderful little virtualization platform for the price, and great support from HUNSN !
I purchased the barebone unit because I wanted to choose the brand of RAM and mSATA drive. I ended up purchasing 2x Micron Crucial 8 GB and an INDMEM 256 GB SSD. Like others have reported, after setup the unit that arrived would not POST or boot with both SODIMM slots populated. A quick swap test revealed that slot0 would recognize the RAM but slot1 would not. HUNSN was quick to respond to my messages and with the details I provided they had a replacement unit on its way the next day.The replacement unit works like a charm! I boot to Proxmox VE 7.1. From there I configured two VMs: the first VM runs pfSense 2.6 with 8 GB RAM and the ETH0 and ETH1 NICs assigned via PCIe pass through. The second VM is an Ubuntu 20.04 container with 6 GB RAM that shares ETH3 with Proxmox, and runs TP-Link's Omada Software Controller to manage my switches and WAPs. That leaves me with a spare NIC to do something with someday if I can think of anything that needs a dedicated NIC.So far this configuration is working flawlessly and supports my 40+ network devices. I haven't yet made any formal measurements of throughput but with video streams running to several TVs and the typical background traffic on my network, Proxmox shows the overall CPU utilization to be around 10% and the HUNSN appliance is barely warm to the touch. I should mention the rest of my network hardware is just 1 GbE stuff. The RAM requirements of the Omada software controller are less than I had expected, so I am considering paring its VM down to 2 GB RAM and setting up a third VM with 4 GB RAM to which I'll migrate my HomeAssistant instance.Overall, great bang for the buck and it nicely replaces the Linksys EA7500 router which our network has outgrown.

Ready to Rumble!
I was pleasantly suprised to find that this stout piece of hardware came with pfSense already installed. Connect it to a monitor, mouse and keyboard, boot to the pfSense OS preinstalled, and tell it what ports you want to feed the LAN and WAN.Truly operates at amazing speed... and smooth. My bufferbloat score before installing this was a C+ and now it is an A.I have this appliance being fed by multi-gig cable, and connected to a 2.5 gig unmanaged switch and Orbi 970 mesh wifi in Access Point mode. The case of the device is heavy duty aluminum -- and is effectively a big heat sink. The internals run (according to pfSense) at about 41 celcius. It is warm to the touch, so plan on putting it somewhere with good airflow. This thing is stout. Could also be used as a home defense weapon if you could get it unplugged fast enough.Oh, forgot to mention, it did not come with a VESA Mounting bracket, so when I asked the seller if they sell one, they were kind enough to place one on order for me at no cost... They responded to my Amazon inquiry within minutes and were so nice and polite! Very impressive. The packaging was excellent and the box itself looks amazingly badass with many USB ports, HDMI, display port and 4 x 2.5 gig ports. A lot of potential here.I loved the fact that it came ready to go with pfSense pre-installed and very little configuration required. If you have a complex network or if you want your multi-gig network to be both protected and operating at max efficiency, this is the device to get.

OPNSense & AdGuard
RJ03 Works great with OPNSense along with AdGuard as a plugin. Passive heat dissipation is good, and active (with cooling fan) made it great. HUNSN customer service was quick to reply to questions.

Works like it should. OPNsense on deck
I purchased version without SSD and memory so I installed following parts:- (CT2K8G4SFRA32A) Crucial DDR4 SODIMM 2x8GB 3200- (CT500P3SSD8) Crucial P3 500GB M.2 SSDOS installed is OPNsense 24.1 and works fine, no issues at all.In my case Turbo was OFF so CPU was running on 2GHz, if you want 2,9GHz in Turbo you need to enable it in BIOS....or it was just in my case.Support is awesome, big brands can learn something from them. When I was serching in internet about this Mini PC I notice that some people had active cooling installed 40mm or 80mm fan. I asked support about it and they send without problems "fan kit" in case you need it. Very quick response on messages and detiled explanations about everything you ask.
