Geib ButtercutStainless Steel Dog Clipper Blade, Size-10, 1/16-Inch Cut Length (Single Pack)

I will only order this brand I wish they had wide finish blades.

We have a poodle. It currently costs $100 for a good dog groomer to bathe and trim our dog. Once. So I took a few lessons and selected good tools to handle that job myself. My grooming instructor recommended Geib Buttercut blades. I have three of different lengths and have been delighted with them.

I do my own grooming on my poodle and this blade is great. It is sharp, safe and does not get hot. I tried ceramic blades and they stink, I thought I would try ceramic blades and they suck. This blade cost a little more but it works fantastic. I like it so much I bought another (Same Brand) size one I wanted too.

Buttercut is certainly an appropriate name as this set of blades mow through hair and fur like a hot knife through butter. I tried two sets from the clipper OEM and they stayed clogged more than they cut.A 5 star product as far as I am concerned.

Been professionally grooming for a handful of years and I feel like I go through so many #10 blades… This has been the sharpest and best quality one I can find! Been using it daily for a few months and it is still as sharp at the day it came out of the package.

It has become very hard to find anyone who sharpens blades any more, so I was looking to replace an older blade. I have always used Oster blades in the past, but I read the review of this blade and decided to give it a try. The first time I used it I almost scalped my poor dogs neck. It was really very sharp and cut very quickly. It was a little more money than the Oster blades, but it seems to be well worth the money. The second time I used it I knew more of what to expect in the way of its cutting, and it did an outstanding job. It left very smooth looking cuts without some of the usual blade marks. Only time will tell how long it holds up, but I have every reason to believe it will last and work well for some time.More and more you get what you pay for, and this is but another example of spending a little more to get a lot more.

While flying from another state, I had to check my andis kit as a bag since all of my shears were in it, and whoever handled my kit (as much as I wrapped and secured everything) ended up chipping a tooth off of my 10 blade. I had heard the hype that Buttercuts has, and decided to try it out and see how I liked it over the Andis. Let me tell you, I have had nothing but smooth cuts with this blade, and it tackles tight matting like a champ. I definitely plan on getting more blades from this specific brand! :)

Best blade I have ever bought. Too much money down the drain buying cheap andis blades that aare dull when new. I did not know what a sharp blade was until I bought a Buttercut. Worth the extra! JUst bought another one nice to have a couple on hand.
