These are not 6" long, they are 12" long
Nice quality product that works well however they are 12" long, not 6" as described.

Well built and flexible extension for tight spaces
I purchased this extension cable to reduce the space used by a small kitchen appliance on a counter. It allowed me to plug a power cable in without bending as it is flush with the wall. The extension rotation feature allowed me to also keep the second outlet free for use too. I really liked this particular unit because of the solid build, rotating plug, short run (about six inches) and power cord matching black color. I ruled out the small folding adapters as they tend to block the other outlet and seem more prone to failure.

Comes in handy at times
Sadly this didn't work out for what I had planned to use it for, in a jumbo outdoor waterproof receptacle box, but it just made things tighter in there instead of solving a problem. All in all it's really about a foot long not six inches, but I think if you just measured the cable itself between the two ends it would be 6 in? For now they go in a drawer, but I'm sure they will come in handy one day. I find them to be a bit overpriced, as I could get an inexpensive surge protector strip for about the same amount of money one of them costs!

Exactly what I needed
This worked out perfectly and I'm so glad I found it. My outdoor plugs have a cover that can't close if you have something plugged in. So this allowed me to divert the cord out the side hole of the cover. It even had the extra room to have a smart plug to hook up to my smart home, so now all of my outdoor electronics are controlled by voice or phone. I paired it with a waterproof casing to be extra safe and it's working great.

Fine by me!
The cord itself is ~7” and from end to end it measures around 11.5”. This is not an issue for me, I just wanted the flat & rotating grounded plug to use to prevent problems for a vanity with a powered shelf in a bathroom. The space is too tight for the plug when the vanity is in place (it is nearly level with the countertop & kinks the cord at an awkward spot.I’ll try to add another photo once the vanity is in-place.

Not weather proof!!
Details given online did not say it was not weather proof, the use I had for fiting inside an outdoor box. The instructions that came with the item were clear that it was not outdoor suitable or anywhere near potential water exposure. This information should be perfectly clear on an online description.

Trip-proof
As a mobile DJ, I cannot begin to tell you the frustration when your plugging along and someone trips over your power cord that sticking out of the wall. This adapter fixes that by sending the cord down the wall. Add a little gaff tape, and it solves a majority of these issues.

Good for using with a power strip
I have a powerstrip mounted on the wall at my work bench. For items that remain plugged in (battery chargers, lights), I do not like my electrical cords coming straight out. They get in the way. These mount quite flush and you can rotate the short cord in any direction.
