LUVVITTCase for iPhone XR [Clear Grip] Soft Slim Flexible TPU Back Cover Transparent Rubber Case for iPhone Xr Max 6.1 inch 2018 - Crystal Clear

I *really* like Luvvitt cases, I had one on my iPhone 5s which I also really liked. The case is slim and has a rubberized edge so it doesn't feel slippery, I never had a problem dropping it. The only drawback for me is that the back doesn't protect the camera lens very much. Per Luvvitt, it's only 0.2mm higher than the lens which is fine if you lay it on a flat surface but not if you lay it on a rough surface or drop it on uneven ground. I say this because we are often at a park where the only place to sit is a rough rock retaining wall and I either have to set the phone down lens side or screen side down. If that's not important to you and you want a slim case with good grip, this is definitely what you want! Luvvitt's customer service also seems stellar.

I agree with other reviewers who feel that the rubber edge that surrounds the front of the phone should have been just a mm thicker. However, this edge does protect the screen. Having said that, I love how light it is. My cover for my Samsung S3 was heavy and bulky. This one for my S5 is so light, it seems as if there is nothing there. Yet, there is protection. How much protection remains to be seen. I am relatively careful with my phone though, so I am glad I got this one. It slides into my purse easily.

First of all this is really a very nice clear case that I have received. Everything seems almost perfect when my GS5 wears it. All bottons work great. Quality looks great. Overall the case is really nice and you would love it. This is kind of exactly I wanted.But I just have one recommedation about flat bottom near rear camera. My concern is about speaker sound. When you lay your phone flat without case and turn on music then you can hear the sound clearer and louder than you do the same with phone waering the case. Leaving it flat on the surface causes that sound to be supressed as there is no way for it to come out from below. While without case phone remains little tilted and allows speaker sound to come out without any obstruction. Hope that helps. So raising the edges near rear camera (maybe by about 0.2 to 0.4 mm just my guess) should resolve the issue.Again it's not a deal breaker.

I had a Luvvitt case for my iphone 6 which I used for over 3 years and I really loved the quality of it. I would drop my phone quite a bit and the case always protected it. I just upgraded to the XR and expected the same quality from Luvvitt. However, the case that came is pretty flimsy and already had some markings that I tried to clean off to no avail. It seems like a manufacturing defect or the case had already been used. I will most likely return this product.

I had a Luvitt phone cover/case on my iPhone 6 and loved it! It did yellow a tad over time, however I think that's pretty normal. Performance wise - my 6 is still in impeccable shape! I didn't drop it a lot, however it did get dropped from time to time - so great work for the Luvvitt! My new cover fits and looks amazing and I'm hopeful it will be as durable and protect my phone just as well as my original one.

I bought screen covers for both my S5 Active and my S5. Thoroughly cleaned the screens. When I applied the S5 Active cover, the top near the left of the speaker will not adhere. I have the same issue with the S5 cover as well and the bottom right will not stick either. Grrr....

I originally purchased this for my daughters iPhone 6 because she wanted a clear case so that you could still see the color of the phone. She loved it! I really liked the look and feel of it, so much so, that when I purchased my Galaxy S5 I bought the exact same case! Unless other people look closely, they cannot tell there is a case on the phone. We have been asked by people, "Shouldn't you put a case on your phone?" It wraps around the front of the and provides protection from minor bumps and drops. I would definitely recommend it for those who are not accident prone :)

A little bulky, also a little cloudy. Not a great "feel" - makes phone feel too hot in my hand, and it's not even Summer yet. No raised protection for camera lens. Certainly protective enough, just not for me.

Love it, clear so blue phone shows through, feels smooth n slim fit
