A really spacious fish tank for my Betta :)
The media could not be loaded. I happy with the fish tank! Definitely recommend it if you have a pet betta fish. I was told at a pet store that the bettas need at least 3 gallons of water. Prior to this pet fish I had a school of guppies and they were in a Mason jar. The long story short they did not survive :( . Once I got a new fish after research and going to the pet store I spotted this fish tank in a store and online. I'm satisfied with the shape,it fits the space it's in on the bedside table and my fish swims freely. Easy to Clean and holds a little over 3.5 gallons of water. Also the filter motor is not noisy and the filters are not tough to find. 5 stars all the way.

Good tank for the money
Tank seems pretty good, I don't think it's flimsy like some reviews state. The pump IS probably too strong for betta fish though, I agree. Your betta will not like the major flow of water and hide behind the filter in a "calm" area. I've had non issues with the light, it works fine, and the lid on mine was fine. One thing I've noticed is the clarity of the acrylic tank; or seems somewhat cloudy and I'm not happy about that. I thought it would be crystal clear but it's not. This tank is fine for the money and has the nice curved design to fit small areas.

Almost perfect - Almost! My betta fish is happy
This aquarium turned out to be perfect for me, and I am not an easy sell! I bought my first fish ever at a 99 cents store - musing that they even sold such a thing. But my fish is a beautiful sapphire blue betta or fighting siamese fish. So what started out as a dollar investment, grew into purchasing this item, because I quickly learned that the little bowl he was in just wasn't big enough. So for a starter aquarium, it really eased my anxiety about getting what was needed without a bunch of fuss. I am busy and don't need anything complex to maintain. This is great for the price and easy to deal with.I would have given this item 5 stars but the design is a bit flawed when it comes to the top and how it fits over the filter. I had to pry what looks like a square cut out piece open so that the top could somewhat lay on top of the filter as it rests over the tank. I expected it to fit properly and lay flat, especially since it came together. That said, my betta loves his new space. I regularly rinse the filter pad out, so the water stays nice and clean for him. At first, the filter scared him, which was going to result in 3 stars, but surprisingly he got used to it, and when he is tired of braving the little current it creates, he justs finds a spot that is not affected as directly by the filter's pull. It also helps him shake out of his occasional boredom by creating movement. The lights are terrific. There are at least 10 options. Some are single colors, and others auto-switch through a set of colors. I don't keep the lights running 24/7 because I want to give the betta's eyes a break from the brightness. So if there is natural daylight, or if it is near night time, I used those as rest periods for him. It is a a great option. The lights are beautiful and keeps things interesting for my little betta. I do unplug it for long parts of the day to give him rest, since bettas really prefer still water. The shape is cool and the container is easy to manage. I wouldn't recommend waiting a whole month to change the water. 2 weeks tops, with rinsing the filter out frequently. Otherwise, the water may start to stink. That can't be good for the fish.Anyway, now that the betta is so happy, I hope they come out with a 5 gallon version, since this once is so manageable, which I was concerned about. A little tip for changing the water: Based on other reviews about the container cracking, although it seems very sturdy to me, I don't take the chance. After placing my betta in a temporary container, I use a smaller container - to remove at least half of the water, before moving it to pour the rest out and rinsing it well. One other thing, in case the manufacturers read this - it would be super sweet to include a water conditioner, heater and one or two silk floral plants. Then the aquarium would be truly complete. Perhaps it could called be a deluxe version :-)

Great but it's SMALL - BE SMART with STOCKING
When. I got this I was naïve to how much you should stock per size of the tank and I put way too much fish in this tank. This tank would be great for one beta fish and that is IT. Or maybe 2-3 neon tetra. Or maybe a snail or two. But outside of that, you need a larger tank. This tank was cute thought, easy to set up and was fun for my family. Quickly had to upgrade sizes however to accommodate the amount of stock i had for the size. Please do your research and be smart before making this purchase - look up stocking aquariums and also look up cycling a tank before you buy, fill, and dump fish in without researching what you are doing first. These are important steps to ensure your fish live long and happy lives.

Bad pump cheap product horrible customer service
Was disappointed from the first day with the flimsy tank. Also it didn’t hold 31/2 gallons of water as advertised but thought I’d make do. The pump was the worst! Cheap and not very powerful, hardly pumped water. It was extremely weak. There’s not enough tubing to reach the bottom of the tank so fish can get sucked up into the pump. The clip at the top is so flimsy it bends and doesn’t stay so the pump falls into the tank. Called Koller on the first day to get advice or ask where I could buy a new pump that would fit on the particular tank I purchased. Operators took my info but NO CALLS BACK TO ME! Called 3 more times in a month and a half and NO RETURN CALLS! That told me all I needed to know about Koller products!! Last straw, changed the water regularly with proper fresh water and after a month cleaned the tank etc and put it back together and the pump won’t filter. It’s on alright, but the water won’t flow up and over the top. That’s when I made my last phone call to them trying to even simply buy a new and better filter from them. No Response from Koller!!!!! I strongly recommend NOT purchasing from Koller and I never will again!! Their customer service is disgraceful!!!!

Great Little Tank
Great little tank. I would definitely suggest this for beginners for a couple guppies or perfect for a beta It comes with samples of products and a pretty good filter.

Beware of finding replacement filters for pump.
It is a great tank but BEWARE of trying to find replacement filters. Not so easy. I may up buying new pump to make this problem a non issue. My Betta fish is very happy in his new home, blowing bubbles like a good fish.

Great! Son loves it
Great! Son loves it. One thing, as mentioned by another reviewer, I believe, the foam part in the filter has to be changed about once a month, and they are not cheap! Look into the cost of getting the filter before buying this if you are concerned about costs involved.

Great tank, but lousy pump.
So, everything was more or less perfect for less than a week. When it arrived, it was slightly scratched, but not enough to be noticeable or worth returned. Set up the tank and everything seemed great, until the pump stopped working. Now my poor fish has to filter or pump and I am hoping I can get a new one sent as I can't return the tank as it's now fully set up and occupied by a happy beta fish. Not impressed with the quality of the pump.
