Good stuff from Blackball!
Rare alternative rock side project of Precious Death's frontman Chris Scott. This is their sophomore and final album. Nice mix of grunge and RHCP influenced funkadellic rock with a few tracks even featuring a horn section! I had this on repeat for quite some time! Nice album cover, too. Who thought a goldfish in a blender could have deep meaning?

So amazing! Powerful, Catchy, Heartfelt
I cant begin to describe how much I love this band. This was my first rock cd I ever owned, I was 10, now 22. This album made me pick up a guitar...I'll start with Christopher Scott's amazing singing! He he by far one of the best singers I've heard in my whole life. I mean just WOW! I'd kill for his voice. Going from rapping to epic orchestral highs with vibrato, he is just in a whole other league with rock singers. No one in rock comes close to him.The drummer, I think his name is Larry or Lorenzo. His rhythms are so catchy, everyone so much different from the last one, the fills, color and depth, I take so much from him now that im drumming also. He even puts most heavy metal drummers to shame. The melodies and musicianship on this album is one of the best Iv'e ever heard. Every song is so unique, has its own feel, its own message. Everything is just BRILLIANT. I thrash around like a mad man this whole album or just lay on my bed almost in tears. Yeah it's part of my childhood but I promise you, I've been listening to this album for 12 freakin years now and I only like it more each time!!! I can't say I have a favourite song, all of them have been my favorite song one time in my life or another. It's groovy, its heavy, its soft and beautiful, its one of the best dang rock albums in existence!!!! BlackBall is Legendary!

One of my very favorite disc's of all-time
One of my very favorite disc's of all-time!!!!! This is a masterpiece collection of punkish. groove oriented rock tunes. these guys formed from the ashes of the relatively obscure christian thrash/metal band "Precious Death". this CD runs the gamut from toe tapping jams to harder edged grungier funk rock. It's going for a penny right now here on amazon. it's a real baragain!!!! they do have another release with a slightly harder edge'd sound. it's good record aswell but this is the one to start off with.

this is a very good album, if you like 90's hard rock with melodic metal/christian overtones then this ones for you! there previous album was less melodic for my taste, it was more straight forward heavy rock. They previously recorded albums under the name "Precious Death". that band was more christian grunge hard rock. Not bad if you dig that type of music. The melodic flare on 'Hope" is more to my liking. I highly recommend this album!
