Not worth $100
I got it for my parents for Christmas. It hurt spending $100, but I wanted to get them something nice. The frame was a lot cheaper looking than I thought it would be. I think they would have preferred a a framed photo instead.

The product is true to form! Does Everything it is supposed to do. Refreshing...great quality made
Quality made. It has taken a few tumbles from 3 feet with moving fireplace/mantle combo to clean, crazy cats. Still works 1 year later like the day I bought it. T This review posted May 2023

It does the job it was intended to!
It does the job it was intended to! The grandparents love it.We got three, for different sets of grandparents. One has a faulty connector that wiggles out of place constantly and turns off.We love that the app lets us add pictures to each frame at the same time. It is quick and easy. But we wish the app told us which frame has which photos (in the instances they are different). The number one thing we wish this app allowed is for us to take photos off the picture frames. That can only be done on the frame itself.

Can't freeze a picture like a regular picture frame
Okay, first for the good points: Comes in a very nice gift box, image quality is decent, the method of importing pictures is nice. Now for the bad: It can only hold a picture for 2 minutes before rotating to a different one, it will not freeze a single picture at all like a regular picture frame. It instead reloads the same picture over and over again, which is jarring. I want a picture frame, not a slideshow. Yes, it was inexpensive, but it's going back.----------EDIT 15 SEPTEMBER 2022:----------The frame has been set up and running in our living room for nearly a month now, and I found a "quirk" in the software to make it do what I wanted to do. First, a recap:You load in photos via email. That part works great. Image quality is very good, and when the frame senses no nearby motion, it turns off the photos and displays a large but unobtrusive digital clock; that part is surprisingly useful, too.But here was the problem--the software will only allow you to automatically cycle through the photos, with no single photo displayed for more than 120 seconds. But I want a SINGLE PHOTO displayed, like, you know, a picture frame! Yes, you could just tell the frame to run the same photo over and over, but after 120 seconds it reloads the photo using one of the zoomy transition effects. Extremely distracting. So the frame was about to be shipped back when I accidentally discovered a way to break the software:(1) Start the cycling process. When you get to the photo you want as a still photo, you can pinch your fingers on the touch screen to zoom in slightly, eliminating the blank areas.(2) In 120 seconds the frame will advance to the next photo. Once it does, immediately touch the center of the new photo and "drag" it to the right of the display, and hold it there. Count to 5 seconds, then lift your finger off the display.(3) When you lift your finger, the display will abruptly jump back to the PREVIOUS photo (the one you really want to display), and the auto-advance process stops. You've somehow "broken" the software, and your desired photo will stay, even after the frame goes blank from a lack of motion in the room! The frame now just shows a SINGLE PHOTO, as though it was, you know, a photo frame! The software will start up with its auto-advance thing if you just swipe the photo to the right or add new photos. The folks at Customer Service say they have forwarded on to the development team the desire to modify the options so that a single frame can be displayed, but don't hold your breath. Meanwhile, you now have the ability to make the frame "freeze" by performing your simple finger trick.

Great Customer Service!
I bought this for my daughter for Christmas so I could send her photos to it, as we live far apart. I added a ton of photos to a USB drive to put in the back of the frame. It works great in showing the old photos and also lets me send new photos directly to the frame and it shuffles through all of the photos, old and new. The customer service is fantastic with this company. I have purchased a total of four of these frames for my kids. Its a gift that lasts and lasts!

Great Photo Display
Purchased this digital frame for my parents for Christmas and honestly works great. Photos look really clear, and as of yet had no problems with it. My parents just leave it on and look at it time to time so I don't have any problems with it.I wish there was a way to send photos even though it is off because they move it sometimes and when it's off you can't send photos or anything. Just wish there was a Queue for when it's on again it will import new photos.

Great Gift Idea
This digital is super easy to set up. I bought it to display all my wedding pics on my USB because let’s face it- I am too lazy to print and hang them up on my wall. It works just like it says it does and my family loves it. Going to be buying this for my mom for her bday.

Awesome memories
This thing is awesome. Every time we walk pass it we always stay a few minutes just reminiscing on the pictures as we scroll.

Deceived- UPDATED
Update:The seller reached out to me promptly once my original review was posted. They explained that I should only have gotten a subscription prompt after 3 years or 5 GB was used. Then a yearly subscription will take into effect to add new photos indefinitely. As I only recently purchase the frame, their system was likely incorrect & they offered to adjust this for me. I have changed my original 2 stars to 4 stars. Although I wish the above was clearly listed in the item description in order to make an educated purchase, the company’s customer service is excellent. They were informative & helpful. These are qualities I look for in a company considering I’m hoping my relatives will be using the frame for many years to come.Original:I purchased this frame as an easy way for elderly relatives to receive updated photos. As they are technology challenged, I could control the frame from a distance & they could simply enjoy. When setting up the frame, I had a few questions which were answered promptly by the customer service team who was very helpful. The frame itself is decent. The screen quality worked well enough & lists the time & weather which they enjoy. The motion detection pops on as soon as anyone is around. Although the frame is plastic it didn’t look too cheap at a distance. I also enjoyed the large memory it had. However, after 3 months I’m now being asked to subscribe to the app for another year for more memory in order to add any new photos. They provided 3 options of different memory sizes at varying prices. I wish I had known this would be required when purchasing the frame originally. In fact, I decided on this frame instead of another as the description on the frame, app, nor any reviews (at the time) did not mention requiring additional payment. Feel duped

Never knew I needed this until I did.
At first I thought how useful can it be after all it's just a photo frame but boy was I wrong. IT IS NOW THE STAR PIECE OF MY DESK.Never have I ever experienced a setup so simple and easy. If I have to choose my favorite feature it'll be how many option you have at your disposal to upload the photos, absolutely love how you can just upload from your phone through the app and the motion sensor 🤌. Screen quality is on par with my laptop and it is built pretty solid too.

Bit sluggish in response time, doesn't always register swipes, bloatware, suspicious/poor App
As far as digital picture frames go, this one is outright average especially in late 2022. While the overall physical build quality appears good (nothing special really), the software and the performance of it and in particular the App itself leaves MUCH to be desired at this point in time towards 2023.≡✔ First the good; the physical build quality is actually fairly decent; basically a tablet inside imitated wooden plastic frame. It's got Micro SD Card slot as well as a Micro USB port at the back. The general look and feel is quite good with a detachable stand support to allow for either landscape or portrait orientation, or none at all to be hung on a wall or what have you.It also comes with a barrel connector wall adapter capable of 5V/1.5A; though, I wish it comes with a USB to barrel connector CABLE instead because if the adapter is dead, the whole thing would be useless whereas it's a lot easier to replace the cable (and it's less likely to break as well). My point being most people have an USB adapter anyway and there really is NO need to have more of these adapters. Or better yet, use standard USB connector/port rather than barrel connector/port.≡✘ Now the bad; the issue I have with this picture frame is the overall performance and responsiveness of the device; it's slow and sluggish more than half of the time and the touch screen is rather insensitive/inaccurate and slow in responding to most of the touch controls requests (i.e. swipes). It feels like I'm using a touch screen from more than 10 years ago where it doesn't always register swipes or if it does, it doesn't do so correctly. As a result, I often have to tap it multiple times in order to get something done which is beyond frustrating in late 2022. I have old phones from 2009 that outperform (with respect to response time and touch control accuracy) this digital picture frame. In comparison to MOST other digital photo frames out there, this one has a lot of bloatware built-in; not necessarily individual software per se but the additional features which I find particularly annoying such as video, music, or even weather/alarm as I already HAVE other devices for those. I don't need a digital photo frame to do anything else other than displaying photos. I mean, who is gonna use calculator on a digital frame?✘ In particular, I hate the weather feature because it absolutely requires 24/7 network access for it to work and this is one of the tricks some companies use to get around certain network restrictions because it's psychological (many people don't wanna see error displayed on the screen). I know this because I'm in the industry.≡ AppIt can be used with an App called 'JointFrame' to send pictures remotely or files can be manually transferred and downloaded to the frame via Micro SD card which is what I test it with. It works fairly well without any issues. I'm not a big fan of Apps because I have WAY too many and they are without exception ALL data mining in disguise which I'm not a big fan of; unfortunately, this is one of the WORSE (far more intrusive) ones out there in comparison to some others. It requests far more information to be entered than most others during the entire setup/registration process. It appears nowadays I'll have to REGISTER with everything that I have that is electronic (why are people so interested in knowing what I have?).✘ Note that this particular App has a rating of 3.4 which is rather LOW in my opinion and it is simply way too BUGGY and shouldn't be released for general public at all. I tried to setup a new account the first time I used but it refused to let me continue after trying to login to the newly setup account. I wonder how much of my private info it has gathered during that little exercise.Unlike most other digital photo frames out there, this one intentionally hides the Android version but I know it's running one from the directory structure when I browse around the file system. The vast majority of other digital photo frame run a striped down version of Android 6.0.1 so I'll just assume this one does too even if it's hidden from view. What's important though is the fact it is NOT as responsive as I need it to be and it's just not a good experience for me when navigating around the interface particularly during swipes where I have to do it multiples most of the time.≡ ValueAll things considered, this would've been a good digital picture frame if not for the sluggish response time, poor touch screen capabilities, and poorly designed and intrusive App. The physical build is decent in general; however, poor and sluggish performance coupled with poor touch screen capabilities is a real deal breaker for me.As such, it's got a steep price of $100 because you can get a full blown budget Android 8/9/10 tablet for about that price (albeit smaller screen perhaps) that would outperform this any time of the day (provided that it doesn't run anything stuff except slideshows as this one does). Your mileage might vary.

Digital photo frame vs a smart assistant display. Hmm…
Current price point at the time/date of this review: $119.99 with no discount/coupon currently being offered by the seller at this time. Not very long ago this unit was going for $129.99 with no discount/coupon being offered by the seller. Not sure how I feel about this in terms of pricing. We own several upon several smart display assistants at home that also displays photos in ambient mode. When factoring in the cost (and difference) between both units, do you really want just a picture frame or a smart assistant display that can do essentially most of the same things? If it’s just the albums and digital photos you’re looking to get, then this one may be for you since it’s already encapsulated within a decent looking frome. Otherwise, consider your options. Since we already have a smart assistant display in our family room, I plan to simply stand this one up on the counter and have it cycle through photos near all the other photo frames. This one certainly blends in nicely with all my other picture frame, but is it worth the cost? Only you can answer that.
