Outstanding Product -- In Form and Function, Truly Superior
I purchased the Sugatsune Catch magnets (2) to close a kitchen cabinet door -- in fact, the most important kitchen cabinet door from a closure perspective -- the door to the cabinet that holds our kitchen garbage can.The magnets perform perfectly from a form and function perspective. First, form -- they are essentially flat, so you don't have to worry about a bulky magnet causing a gap between a door and frame, or overthink where you need to place them. Second, function -- the magnets are quite powerful. I ended up only installing one, because it holds my trash cabinet door so strongly that I'm not sure I would be able to open it if was secured with two magnets. The other magnet now sits in its package, awaiting another door that needs closure.I highly recommend the Sugatsune Catch magnet -- it is far superior, in its combination of form and function, to anything I could find at major hardware retailers like Home Depot or Lowe's.

Works great as an entry sensor magnet!
Works great as a magnet for alarm entry sensors in tight places. One of my exterior doors has a recessed door frame, therefore I could not properly mount an entry sensor on it as there was not enough clearance. So I placed this in the door frame and put the wireless sensor on the door and all works.

Perfect for the job
Needed a way to keep our mailbox closed, which is basically a flat box with a slot at the top for the carrier to cram things into. Who wants to use a key to open and close the front? I trust my neighbors. This is exactly what I was looking for--the pieces are super-flat and I just superglued them to the metal mailbox. They're hidden when the lid is closed and the strength is just right--you don't need to yank, but there's no chance of it popping open if there are's a package leaning against it. I'm ordering another set to keep the shower door closed.

Strong for a small magnet
These are small and simple magnets, but really have some strength. I'm using them to keep the drawers closed in my RV and they do a fantastic job. Just not sure they we're worth $10 each.

Disappointed
The magnet part works. But really what would you use it for. They are small and not equally flat, so they will get stuck.

One reviewer said this wimpy latch worked for barn doors???? No way, Jose!!
Grade A Crapola. Still looking for the ideal item for my application- a hollow core door leading to the garage. Recently the dogs have discovered how to nuzzle it open, followed by a carefree neighborhood romp. Tried another "industrial" grade latch on Amazon listed here: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00IYFOEJG/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 This one is great quality but at 50lbs, it's just too grabby for my lightweight door. The search continues.Btw, I'm still puzzling over how one reviewer said this wimpy latch worked for barn doors???? No way, Jose!!

Don't be deceived by its compact size!
I used this on a wooden medicine cabinet. It holds the cabinet door closed very securely, has no bulkiness, and was a snap to install. I fully recommend this product!

Beware
The magnet works great but beware that it may not fit your cabinets depending on the thickness of the wood. In our case, we weren't able to install them and shipping them back for a credit would have cost MORE so a total loss.
