Best all-around option
Of the various pet camera options out there, this is the best all-around option for cats. I previously bought a Furbo, but it seems much more suited to dogs. The Pawbo has a camera with two-way audio, a built-in laser toy (with automatic and manual controls), treat dispenser, sounds to attract cats (birds chirping, bag crinkling, mouse squeaking, etc.), and there are additional add-on toys that can be incorporated with it. I liked it so much that I bought another one to give to my parents for their house.I had a little bit of trouble getting it connected to my WiFi, but Pawbo's customer support responded very quickly and thoroughly to get it set up. It's possible that this was just an issue with my WiFi network though, because I set up the second one at my parents' house with no problems whatsoever.I have a few criticisms:-I have noticed that there can be a bit of a lag in the video if I'm using the app away from home.-I wish it had built-in night vision. When there is enough light, I think the picture quality is actually better than the Furbo, but the Furbo has night vision.-Since it drops the treats down directly in front of the device (rather than shooting them out like the Furbo), you can't see where it has dropped the treat. It would be nice if either the camera could move down to view that area or have the device shoot the treats out further.-I wish the laser would aim out a bit further. Perhaps it's just a matter of placement, but I find that the laser sometimes is aimed so close to the area in front of the device that my cats when my cats chase after it, they get close enough to the Pawbo that the laser just ends up shining on their bodies instead of the floor.-It would be nice if the laser continued to operate on auto mode even when you leave the app. My cats will chase a laser for ages, but I don't always have the time to sit and watch them do it for an extended period of time while I'm checking in on them away from home.I don't think there really is a totally perfect pet camera option out there that has it all and works flawlessly, but the Pawbo is the closest thing to it. I hope they add more automated add-on toys to it because it looks like it has the potential for more.

Can be used in So Many Ways!!!!
Absolutely loved it! Originally purchased to assist in litter box training our new ShihTzu and it worked wonders allowing me to view her progress and provide feedback when good or bad. The ability to provide treats when she did good was a huge benefit and, I'm convinced, allowed her to complete her training early! After her training, I have used it to bring with her to a pet resort and place in her suite to allow me to view her while on vacation. It's extremely easy to setup and connect with the Pawbo App! And, I love the simple QRCode feature allowing you to easily create a QRCode and send to whomever you wish and allow them access to view your pet (or whatever you have the camera pointed at). But it's also secure allowing you to know how many are connected at any given time (if I remember, it can be up to 10) and you can set the Pawbo to chime/ring whenever someone connects and views the camera feed! This feature alone would make it an awesome addition to breeders who wish to easily allow new pet owners to view their new pets in progress before being able to pick them up!The laser is great as it can be controlled by you to interactively play with your pet, or you can set it on auto where it will do it itself. However, the ONLY drawback I have for the device is that a very simple fall (which can be easy given it's shape, size and smoothness in your hands) of about 1 to 2 feet caused some controllers to get knocked out of place and thus made the laser shoot in one spot and could not be controlled manually or automatically for play. Luckily, my husband is amazing at fixing things and was able to open the device and repair the problem - so all good! 🤗The ability to select various sounds (cats purring, birds chirping, etc) that catches the pets attention is nice; although I wish they would add the ability to play pre-recorded messages that the owner can record in future versions/updates to the app! Finally the two-way audio is great to talk with your pet and get feedback. And the ability to capture video and still is a great plus, especially when they like to do funny things when nobody is looking! Although I would prefer 1080p or anything better than the 720p that it is.Otherwise I now use it to watch her while away from the house for a short time (which is not often being retired early) or as a simple "extra" security camera. It easily hides in various places and can become a great extra security camera, especially with two-way audio completely freaking out any uninvited guests into your home while away! Lastly it has worked nicely as well for my husband, who often does the shopping, to talk with me at home while allowing me to be free to roam around the room completely disconnected from any device or phone, allowing him to verify he is getting the right brand, size, etc.Simply put - it's a Completely Awesome Device that can still be used in a multitude of ways after not needing it for your pet!

Will not see any WLANs at all
I bought this device for my wife as she wanted a camera where she could see the cats while we are traveling. I have a robust network in the house, so I didn't think there would be any issues with getting the camera on wifi and having it work (I have other cameras from other manufacturers on the network with zero issues).I started up the camera which entered setup mode and fired up the app. I noticed that the app was saying that my WLAN SSID was <unknown SSID> which was strange. I tried setting up the device by hitting the WPS button and connecting directly to the camera itself, which then said it saw zero SSIDs (which my phone can currently see 20). I looked at their support FAQ and saw that they had some restrictions on SSID names, encryption protocols, etc, so I created a brand new WLAN just for this device following all of their rules. No dice.So I thought it was a defective device and requested a new one. Same thing. This device just will not see any SSIDs no matter what I do. Even if I break down and use my ISPs generic wifi router which includes a WPS button and try using WPS on either device they don't work. I'll not be asking for a 3rd one.

Does not work well at all
Garbage, do not buy. I'm very good with tech gear and this product does not work well.Pros:-Feeds treats well. This is the only thing that works well.Cons:-Laser pointer doesn't work well at all. Movement is horrible and doesn't respond well. Also very loud. The laser doesn't point down to the floor. You have to have the cam pointed at a wall so the laser is high enough to see. However, you won't be using it because it has a hard time moving around and doesn't work.-Connection is horrible. Sometimes it doesn't connect and once again I'm good with tech gear and have great quality internet.-Picture is nice BUT the video is not flawless. Its VERY choppy and delayed ALOT. Most important part about this product is the video and it is highly delayed. Better off with a security cam.-Speaker is horrible. When you try to talk or call your pet the speaker in the device sounds like a $1 speaker and is very hard to hear. Low volume.

Love seeing my dogs at work on my coffee breaks
I liked it, wish the laser worked. I dunno if it broke during shipping or what but laser part doesn’t work for me!
