Two mysteries in one story. Meet Samantha and Ethan
Thank you Amazon for once more suggesting a new author to me, Elisabeth Naughton, I can honestly say this story grabbed me from the first chapter and held me well into nights.Hidden Falls was the town where Samantha Parker grew up, the memories have haunted her nightmares for years and she wouldn’t have returned if it wasn’t that her mother had passed away and Samantha was the only one of her family left to take care of this. The town was exactly as she remembers when leaving it, but we have fast forwarded to eighteen years later. The town where she witnessed her brother’s murder, will those horrible nightmares of that night ever go away? Accepting a chemistry teaching position at the local high school all Sam wants to do if “make the house look great” and move back to California. One of her students, Thomas Adler needs help and with that enter Dr. Ethan McClane, a child psychologist, who has many secrets of his own and the town. You almost know immediately that the sparks are flying between Ethan and Sam.Ethan knows immediately that Sam’s behavior and hazy memories are repressing something but no one is more shocked to find out what.Who should Sam trust, Sheriff Will Branson or Senator Jeff Kellogg? Sam felt that Margaret Wilcox, the English teacher and wife of Jeff Kellogg, David Burke, Principal or custodian Kenny Saunders had some hidden secret but what.Trust me this story will keep you glued to the pages and if you’re like me well into the wee hours of the morning reading. I hope this is the beginning of a series as there were several loose ends in the story and after Sam met Ethan’s adopted parents Michael and Hannah McClane, you know there are 2 more brothers and sisters that must have stories of their own.

Absolutely fascinating as well as deliciously intriguing, loved it!
My favorite book by Ms. Naughton is Wait For Me or at least it was, now I think this one is going to be! She had me intrigued in the very first paragraph! When I had to stop reading, I could not stop thinking about it and could hardly wait to get back to it, I was so intrigued with the storyline, I didn't want to put it down. This is about troubled childhood events that color the lives of those involved, especially those of the main characters Samantha and Ethan. Unknowingly, their lives were intertwined in childhood and became involved again as adults. How touching that two people with such terrible secrets and who needed someone to love so terribly would find each other! Yet the odds were against them. I don't want to ruin it for the next reader so am not going to give it away here. This book kept me fascinated until the very end and I will most likely read it again! I can't wait for the second book in this series to come out.

Action, suspense and hot loving
Lots of action, tension and hot emotions in this book and it made it an exciting read from start to finish. As memories surface, dangers take over and love is in question when murders are blurred in details and confusion for our heroine puts her right where she shouldn’t be.Great read, and great characters.

Repressed
This was a good book of reading suspense and a rather surprising Who Done It! It read as a tangled web of characters but so well written it was easy to follow. A love story wrapped it all up but that was also surprising to survive all the drama of a town intertwined in a murder!

Enjoyable
I did enjoy this murder mystery. The lead characters were likeable and the storyline kept you reading. Although I did find it a little predictable in places and found some parts unbelievable, it did keep me reading. I also thought there were too many sex scenes. I wanted to get back to the story. It's definitely worth a read. Good plot.

A good suspense novel
I thoroughly enjoyed this book and couldn't put it down, I enjoyed the characters - the thing that didn't sit well with me was a 10 years obsessed with a doll the attitude reminded me of my 4 year old.
