Bought this twin pack for use with an old samsung A13 smartphone when on family holiday with a water park. The plastic is crystal clear and video and pics shot through it were perfectly clear, no sign of the phone being inside a pouch.I only used the pouch for one day but it kept the phone dry through water slides, chutes, very rapid water rapids (without being inside a donut or any kind of float) and was fine with adults and kids using it (kids took it on water chutes too). The sound capture was also fine. Touch screen worked ok, occasionally the cover was not in contact with the screen but thats no fault of the pouch really and a firmer press or swipe sorted that out.The two clips that sandwich the opening shut were reassuringly firm and theres a loop on the clamp end but no lanyard provided but you could use any reasonable string if needed.As i only used it for 1 day i cant vouch for its long term use but for the price and being able to capture those priceless family photos and videos it was well worth the price of under ten quid. And you get two of them!! One tip is to ensure you keep some air in the pouch when closing it so that it floats when in water and not sink out of sight in water especially if youre not using a string with it, that would also avoid creating a negative pressure inside the pouch (encouraging water to be sucked in , unlikely to happen from what ive seen by why take the risk)

I purchased these pouches as I was going to be going river rafting. They certainly keep your phone dry. Due to the nature of the plastic it does mean you do have difficulty getting your phone into the pouch especially if it is on the larger side. Once it's in and you have it all closed up it keeps the water out! The lanyard is very handy so you don't loose it and the touch screen will still work. If you're using it in very bright sunlight it's hard to see the screen and if you put it against skin that's had sun cream on it it does transfer onto the pouch further reducing the screen visibility. Overall very happy I bought this item.

The items are great just what we wanted

I've used these cases for general use under the water and they work very well. When going under the water they sometimes created a vacuum which acted as something was touching the screen, although if you squeezed the sides a little it would release and I'm not sure what product wouldn't do this for the same cost.
