... giving it 3 starts only because it is slightly better than my first purchase
This is my second VR set that I am trying and I am giving it 3 starts only because it is slightly better than my first purchase. So here are my impressions:PROSClear crisp picture. The focus adjustments can make the video look clear and crisp. Unlike my previous set that could not focus properly.Good build quality. The plastic and sturdy and will not break any time soon.Removable front cover. The cover is magnetically attached and can be easily remove for the phone to vent and utilize the camera.Side openings. To connect a usb charging cable or headphones.CONSExtremely heavy. The magnetic cover and the spring phone holder add significant weight at the front of the set making it uncomfortable to wear for extended period of time. I cannot use it for more than 10 minutes before my noise start to hurt.Internal plastic clear screen creates reflections. However, it was easy to remove. The spring phone holder places the phone at the bottom of the viewing window. Parts of the image cannot be seen. Additionally there is no QR code to configure the viewer according to specs.I had fun watching 360 videos. However this set its only good as a proof of concept and not for everyday use. It needs to loose a lot of weight, add padding in the nose area, and provide a different mechanism for holding the phone centered.

Updated: Still just "ok"
Update: The sellers were nice enough to send a replacement. While this still doesn't correct most of the technical problems, it's at least ok now. It's still frustrating that the viewfinder does not stay closed. As a result, you are constantly holding it shut, just like in the instructions. I still wouldn't spend the original asking price, which I believe was around the $50-60 mark. For around $15-20, it's a little more justifiable, especially with the lack of real features.I have noticed you can purchase an official Google Cardboard for around 15 bucks. The one saving grace for this particular viewfinder is that at least it *looks* like a real VR headset. At minimum the cushion around the eyes is at least comfortable, and it was a nice surprise that my eyeglasses fit inside as well.If you do purchase this, I would highly recommend getting a controller. Otherwise, you're going to constantly be fighting the spring loaded phone holder to touch the phone's screen. This isn't a huge deal, but it barely holds my phone, even though it isn't even at the loading limit for size. Despite that, it still wants to launch your phone at the drop of a hat.Below is the original review with my first run with this product:This is arguably the worst purchase decision I have made this year. I cannot recommend against purchasing this product enough. If I could give it zero stars, I would.Despite my phone meeting the requirements of use, it just barely fits. As a result, the very first time I used the adjustable phone holder, the two small "claws" that are supposed to hold the phone onto the tray burst off. Completely just snapped off with regular use.The instructions are written in broken English and make little to no sense. I spent a solid 5 minutes trying to find (on Google, mind you, as one of the instructions are 'search Google keyword') for a company app only to find that there is none. Instead, they are trying to say that you use a 3rd party VR app such as Google Cardboard or other available apps. The phone absolutely will not stay within the viewfinder. They use a series of 3 thin magnet strips and hope that it holds in a couple pounds of phone. Surprise, it does not. I'm hoping I can find a rubber band or something that I can use to keep it shut. Even the model in the instruction packet is shown physically holding the case shut, so I'm thinking this is not an unknown issue. Instead, they're probably just trying to get your money and hope you don't ask for a refund. The set needs a separate controller which is not included. It's a good thing I got this at a discount. There's no freaking way I would pay full price for this flimsy get up.Which brings me to the interior of the set. Everything feels incredibly flimsy. I would recommend against holding anything with a firm grip because it feels like it could collapse in at any moment.TL:DR: This VR set is garbage and you can probably find a better quality one for around the same price, if not cheaper.

The Design Showcases Staggering Incompetence and Complete Engineering Failure
If I could give this negative stars, I would. This is honestly the most staggeringly incompetent design I've ever personally seen in any product, ever. I'm shaken to my core by the very fact people this incompetent could possibly design and sell a product with such obvious, glaring flaws.I am sitting here, bewildered, wondering if the designer(s) of this piece of absolute garbage have ever actually held a phone in their hands, or whether they have any awareness of where the buttons on EVERY SMARTPHONE are located. Because if they did know, then they intentionally placed the holding clamps in the EXACT LOCATION WHERE THE BUTTONS ARE. The product is literally unusable, because it does nothing except hold the power and/or volume buttons. And no, it doesn't matter which way you orient the phone, nor what phone it is, mine is a OnePlus 3, which has a very standard design, like every other smartphone I've ever had or seen.I'm absolutely blown away, beyond words, as to what a terrible, awful, very bad, no good product this is. Steer far away, in fact, if you've seen this product page at all, you might as well just throw your computer out the window, it's been tainted by the incredible failures of this

Almost Perfect
I will say this, the adjustments you can make for the eyes is awesome. I can literally say all four stars are simply because I can adjust for my vision and dont need my glasses anymore. The minus one star is simply because I have had to sit on my nose. it a hard plastic and its slighty uncomfortable but it worth it for the eyes.Update: lowering the stars because I can’t physically use it anymore over 5 minutes . It’s just two uncomfortable for my nose. I would say I have a average pointy nose and maybe that’s why cause it sits right on bridge . But it’s just two uncomfortable to wear if i had a wider face and nose it would be better

Does NOT work for Galaxy S7
Does NOT work for S7! The phone holders placed directly over the phone buttons...instructions say to add included foam squares to adjust for this. However, you'd need to stack them 3 high to prevent the buttons from being pressed. Also, the unit I received was obviously used/returned, as there were bits of foam remaining from the previous user's attempts. Might be great for other phones...it was far easier to adjust to my vision than another set I tried...so I guess I'm on to attempt #3. Any suggestions for the S7?
