Im young and thankfully otherwise healthy but truly suffer from a general anxiety disorder.Anxiety and mentalHealth are real, important AND private but last month I saw that anxiety can randomly effect my health via raising my BP or Heart Rate even when I don't feel like I'm having a panic attack.What people don't understand is the difference between being anxious and having anxiety. You can be anxious on top of a ferris wheel, during a breakup or about to make a speech but having anxiety, it can just be a normal Tuesday morning brushing your teeth when your heart races and you feel as if you can't breath and your drowning and floating at the same time ... its as involuntary and random as a nose bleed and the worst feeling ever, this feeling causes anticipatory anxiety and you feel out of control. That out of control, wondering if and when and how bad is so detrimental.Because of that, I want to be able to monitor myself, easily and at home whenever I feel like and learn about my body's patterns, things that heighten my stress, my body's warnings etc. and I took to Amazon, did my research and chose Generation Guard. I LOVE how compact and easy this is to use and how accurate the readings are. It gives me peace of mind knowing that I can check in on myself if I'm feeling like I need to.If you're in the market to make an inexpensive, great add on to your medicine cabinet, this is it. Im glad Amazon has the option to review and help me learn which item is the best for me in a sea of consumerism so I decided to pass it along and add one more great review to their list. This unit is easy to use it sets on your biceps at the juncture of many vanes, reads it out, and stores it for you. it's pretty easy to use. I took it to my cardiologist and we did a little test and it was spot-on

I paid for same day shipping and it arrived that evening as promised. The unit is small but very easy to read and use. Before buying this product I went to CVS to use their blood pressure machine and it gave me a very high number that I had never gotten before at the doctors office. So I didn't trust it. I decided to look for one on Amazon thinking and probly paid somewhere between $50 and a $100. At less than $30 this is a great value. I would recommend it to anyone. It definitely is more accurate than the CVS machine but I gave it only 4 stars for accuracy because I can't be sure of its accuracy having used it only once.

My first time buying a product like this as I am getting older and it is necessary to monitor my blood pressure now. This one is easy to use very accurate and doesn’t take up a lot of space. I highly recommend it. A product that does what it supposed to do.

Purchased this for my 80 yr old mother who has been having fluctuating blood pressure and must now check it throughout the day. I did my research on these, read tons of reviews, and this one got some of the best ratings. Its super easy to set up and runs on batteries, not that annoying USB cord. It has a date and time stamp for each reading and a memory feature so you can monitor daily readings over a period of time. I tested this out on myself and every time I got around the same reading. I'd say its extremely accurate. My mom finds it easy to use after I demonstrated the proper placement on her arm and to put it on snugly, but not too tight either. (You need to be able to get three fingers in under it easily) The only mistake she makes is taking another reading on the same arm right after she's already done it. As a registered nurse, I will say *do not do that!* or you will get false readings the second time around. Switch arms or wait 10-15 minutes if using the same arm. The most accurate readings are in the morning before you get up and start moving around alot. Blood pressure rises with changes in posture and increased activity.I highly recommend this blood pressure cuff. Great for home use and managing blood pressure if you are on medications that require a reading before each dose.

If you're looking for something for regular BP monitoring (and that's all) this is a solid option. I take my BP daily and the readings have been very consistent. At one doctor's appointment, I took my BP before going in to the clinic, and at another I actually brought the machine to compare. When compared with the doctor's office machine administered by a nurse, this device measures a couple of points higher, but not enough to be of concern, and that may be in part due to the nurse being able to fit the arm band on me more evenly than I can do myself. Using this is super easy. You put on the arm band, push one button, and it starts itself. It shows you your BP and pulse, and then you push one button to turn it off. I don't bother with the memory function because I'd prefer to keep them in my phone, but it does store your readings. I was a little hesitant about this device when I first got it because the box was kind of banged up, but it's actually been fine! For ease of use and consistency, I've been very pleased. I've been using it about a month and the battery is still fine. I think this would be fine for anyone to use, including a senior citizen who doesn't love complicated technology.

I had a medical issue this past week and have to monitor my blood pressure. The moment I got it put together, which was extremely easy and only took 2 minutes to unpack and put together, it worked better than I expected. Extremely accurate reading as I had hoped for and has a memory that you can look back and see the trend of my blood pressure! Highly recommend and the product is cheaper than expected and well put together!
